- Rupa 14 - We will be kayaking for approximately 1.5 hours on the gentler sections of the Soča River, where you can take in the stunning mountain scenery and glide along the emerald waters. We’ll be using sit-on-top kayaks, ideal for beginners. With a bit of guidance, you’ll be able to enjoy whitewater kayaking and have a fantastic day outside.

Great kayaking adventure on the Soca. - Our family with two teenagers absolutely loved kayaking on the Soca with Soca Splash. The staff were great and made sure everyone knew what they were doing and we all felt challenged but safe. The river is stunning. It’s a must do if you’re in the area.

Enjoyable kayak experience on the Soča River - It was our very first experience on a kayak and we really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks to Bruno and Lilly who were very friendly and also helpful since we had never went on a Kayak before... Could not forget to mention the views.. Oh they were spectacular.. Highly recommended!

Fabulous kayaking in spectacular scenery - A brilliant experience from beginning to end! Checking in was easy, and we were kitted out with wetsuit, helmet, boots etc which were all a good standard. Our host Bruno from Chile was very chatty and put as at ease despite us both being novices.
We had a chance to be taught and practice a few manoeuvres before we set off. The Soca river is absolutely beautiful, what better place to learn to kayak?
The river flow seemed fast in places, but Bruno expertly taught us how to get out of issues, which I tested out by falling in briefly! But no drama, we carried on and did a few more quite tricky moves. The river has various bends and narrowings so proved quite a test for a novice, it was far from dull!
When we got back they announced that the photos they took during the trip would be sent to us for no fee, which is a brilliant deal as most places would charge for this and you have no chance of taking pictures yourself without a GoPro.
Hugely recommended, we can’t speak highly enough of the team.

Friendly, encouraging guides who will make you feel safe, strong and athletic - I was very impressed with my kayak experience with Soca Splash. My guide Vojtech not only made me feel very safe but also made me feel strong and athletic (which I am not!) with his encouragement and positivity. Even when I fell out of my kayak five minutes after setting out, he assured me I did it perfectly! I'm quite nervous and I don't like cold water, but I felt in safe hands and would definitely choose kayaking with Soca Splash again.

Panoramic view coupled with lots of fun - The Kayak trip is a great opportunity to enjoy the panoramic surroundings of Soca River while having fun on the water. If you are looking for an activity packed with adrenaline, I would however rather recommend canoying or rafting. Carlos is a funny and energetic guide who gives great instructions and makes sure you have a good time on the river. Thank you! :) Laura and Charlotte

Would recommend everyone to try! - All the gear was provided & the river is very accommodative to beginners & intermediate Kayakers. Would recommend everyone to do. Its especially beneficial they take photos of you during the kayak and provide this free of charge at the end of the tour, the next day.
The scenery and clarity of the water is breathtaking. We even saw a door drinking from the river. Looking forward to doing it again.

Great experience in a beautiful setting! - We did the sit on top kayak tour with Soca Splash on the Soca River and it was really a great experience. We had a really fun and experienced guide Carlos who explained everything very well from beginning to end in a spontaneous and playful way. He also explained along the way the different things we saw around us. The rapids were very cool to do and thanks to Carlos' directions we went through these effortlessly.

Incredible trip - great guides and amazing scenery. - My friend and I did the 2.5 hour kayak trip with Carlos and Josh. It was an incredible experience. Carlos was so fun, patient, and a clear expert in this field. He taught us a lot of new skills, layer by layer so it wasn’t overwhelming. He also taught us about the area which was interesting.
The river trip was stunning; so much incredible scenery that we could chill and take in. it was the perfect blend of fun, relaxation, challenge, and exhilaration - suited to our skill level.

Very unfriendly Guide, but great nature. - We booked a kayak trip and the route itself was nice, but unfortunately the guide was very unfriendly towards my friend. My friend had never kayaked before and therefore had difficulties. The guide made fun of him in front of the other participants and made more jokes than gave tips. In addition, he drove very far ahead most of the time, so he neither gave me nor my friend any tips nor could he have helped in an emergency. The nature and water were really beautiful, but I really recommend taking another company!
