Great Algonquin hiking trip - The fall colors were at their peak, and Mike our guide took us to the best places, provided enough food and bathroom stops, and was very attentive to everyone.

Algonquin hiking - The hiking was pretty good. Some good views and the waterfall was spectacular. Bat lake hike can be skipped. Instead the initial 3 posts of the centennial ridge and the lookout trail could be added. Overall, a fun experience. Joe is a great guide.

Fantastic canoe, swim and hike - We loved the canoe trip, the swim in the lake and the 2 hikes. Was a bit nervous beforehand that I might be too unfit and hold the group up, but our guide Mike selected perfect spots and we all enjoyed the day immensely. We are a group made up of 52 year old woman plus 2 teenagers (age 16 and 17). Whilst we were advised to bring breakfast and lunch, in fact Mike made sure we had plenty of opportunities to go to restroom and also purchase snacks and drinks. Mike was an excellent tour guide and driver.

Great day out - We were picked up on time and went on three walks each a couple of km. There were some steep and uneven parts but we took it slow and kept everyone together. Our guide Mike had fantastic knowledge of the area and gave us options on the walks to take. Although we missed out on seeing a moose and had some rain, it was still a very enjoyable trip with some amazing views.

Nice tour, great guides, not a good season, terrible organizer. - Much of the tour was as expected. The long transfer was no surprise - and at this time of year there was no viable option to make arrangements to stay overnight and enjoy the amazing park. Mike was a great driver and guide and we felt very comfortable. There are pros and cons to doing the tour in late October: On the plus side, there are very few tourists, so the park is more secluded. On the other hand, the forest had lost most of its colours, there were no animals to be seen and no activities other than a few short hikes. The main reason for the lower score: We had booked a month in advance and had to change from Saturday to Sunday a week in advance. This was confirmed by Tripadvisor. A day in advance the organisers said Sunday was not possible as it was overbooked and we would have to do Saturday or cancel. Absolutely ZERO support or refund, just blame Tripadvisor. We don't care who Travelling Chicken use as a distribution channel as they remain fully responsible for any marketing channel they use. This caused quite a stir as we had to rebook our other Saturday plans.

A very long-duration day tour - We didn’t expect that the tour would last for the whole day that supper had to be taken before the tour returning to town (and it was not stated in the itinerary neither). We had to leave the tour by ourselves at 8 pm, at the place where the tour bus stopped for supper, such that we could go to our dinner appointment.
