Terrific Art Museum - This is a vast and somewhat eclectic art museum. There is an understandable focus on Canadian and indigenous artists, some of which is quite good. The permanent collection is vast and impressive, with the Henry Moore Sculpture Gallery standing out as a true world class highlight.

Top Notch Museum - It's a top notch museum filled with great art. I recommend taking the free docent-led highlights of the collection tour. We took it first and then spent another three or four hours seeing the museum in depth.

Graceful art museum that highlights Canadian artists - Nice art museum with interesting exhibits. I went to the Making Her Mark exhibit, which I thought was very well done and addressed different learning styles and sensory experiences, i.e. it wasn't just looking at art, they also had period appropriate music, scent boxes, and touchable items. The artworks themselves were very interesting but it is a temporary exhibition. The other galleries were more traditional in approach and felt more 'museum-like'. The Canadian artists galleries were a lot of paintings by the same set of artists, but were interesting since the color palette reminded me a lot of Scandinavian artists such as Munch. I didn't have a lot of time to explore the permanent galleries but from what I did see, the exhibits look well thought out with an eye towards inclusion and represenation. The building itself was nice and airy with a beautiful central staircase.

WORLD CLASS ART MUSEUM! - Fantastic European collection of both sculpture and paintings! We spent as much time in those sections as the rest of the museum. The museum bistro is great for taking a break or having lunch as it takes several hours to properly take in the museum. The museum offers guided tours from very knowledgeable staff. We found the information that they add to the visuals fascinating if you have an area of greater interest. The museum itself is gorgeous both inside and out- be sure to visit the amazing interior winding wood staircase that is a work of art itself!

Worth Seeing - This art gallery is lovely, although the path set out is unclear so it can be easy to miss exhibits and backtrack. There is something for all art lovers, modern, local, historical and masterpieces. KAWS is currently on exhibit and it’s a fantastic large collection, so vibrant and momentous. There is a nice variety of artists works as well as artifacts and interactive artwork.

Worth the trip! - This is a first-class art museum -- not what I'd call a gallery. Great architecture too, but a bit confusing on how to navigate the galleries and floors.

Lots of options for works linked to Canadian history and regional artists, as well as international works presented. - very interesting for people linked to the arts, as it exposes a lot of material to be analyzed, but tiring for laypeople.
