The best part of our trip to Toronto! - What an awesome trip! It was the perfect way to see the Falls and enjoy the amazing sights in the region along the way. The boat ride was exhilarating, and the views from the Fallsview Restaurant during lunch were unparalleled. Gary, our driver and guide, kept us on time and got us everywhere efficiently and safely. The stops during the trip were a lot of fun, too. There was a minor issue with the AC on the bus toward the end of the tour, but Gary had water bottles for us and accommodated as best he could. @Zoom Tours, please tell Gary we enjoyed the trip and that he was a wonderful guide! We appreciate him!

Lovely day spent touring - Our group guide, Johnny, was excellent-- fluent in about a zillion languages, really knew the area and the culture, and had so much great information to share with us. He made the day really special. The buffet luncheon wasn't the best value for the price, but you're paying for the gorgeous view as well as the convenience, so factor that in as you plan your purchases. There wasn't anything "wrong" with it per se... like, the food quality was just fine, but at that price point it should be better than "just fine". The boat tour itself is fantastic, although I would have liked it to be longer (I don't believe it is an option at all). It's very cool to get that close to the Falls. Definitely a great experience.

Best tour guide ever: John M!!!!! - We scheduled this tour a couple weeks in advance for a 9:30am tour and last minute the company called us and switched us to 3:30pm. This minor inconvenience didn’t matter because our tour guide; John was amazing and the group we were with was great! John is very outgoing and knows just about everything about Niagara Falls. He gave us all the good restaurants and suggested other activities for the rest of our trip.

Nice photos and some time at the falls - Contrary to the booking, we were not picked up from the hotel, but were forced to come to Toronto airport without an alternative - after booking - and were picked up there. The tour guide told us nothing about the country and its people, but only a little about Niagara Falls. Jokes about other guests from previous tours and nations were made to lighten the atmosphere. According to the telephone booking via the hotel, lunch was not included after all, but was paid for on the spot. 35 EUR per person for a buffet lunch.

Not the Best Value for the Cost - I booked with zoom tours through third party provider getyourguide. In the attached screenshot on the booking site a boat tour is included, however, was not delivered. In an act of bad faith, zoom tours fails to mention that boat tours are not available in the winter time. This is dishonest and takes advantage of consumer trust. The tour guide was jolly but made polarizing statements regarding politics and religion as well as presenting as facts history that is scientifically false. Several times he lamented the decrease in numbers of people attending church as a practicing Christian. He also minimized the presence of indigenous people in the Niagara region, saying they arrived 2000 years ago, when the signage in the Journey of the Falls lobby dates their presence since before the formation of the falls 12000 years ago. He imitated some Indian accents while telling a story. When he announced how glad he was that Canada had no problem with illegal Mexican immigrants trying to cross the border, the Mexican mother and daughter in the front seat looked clearly uncomfortable. The tour guide is a quirky and hardworking older gentleman, but his humor may not be to everyone's taste. If you want to be driven around on a time constraint to visit the Journey Behind the Falls (instead of the advertised boat tour), taste some maple syrup, and visit the quaint little Niagara-on-the-lake town, this trip may be worth it. However, as tourists without mobility issues, we would have preferred more free time, as well as access to the more family friendly Clifton Hills Niagara Falls Attractions. Next time we visit, we would purchase the go train ticket available for $17.79 and spend the day exploring Niagara Falls at a more leisurely pace and with more attention to our personal points of interest.

Not as Advertised - First, the positive part of the day—the Falls! The boat ride was spectacular! We loved it! But that was the only great part of the day. So I will list the description from the Viator event and then describe the reality. 1. Pickup and drop off from your local hotel. No, this did not happen. I reserved the tour for pickup from our hotel in Missassagua. The night before, they send me a message that I need to now spend another $80 to drive 40 minutes into Toronto to meet the bus. I push back and they agree we can meet at the airport. Still an additional $20 Uber since we don’t have a car. 2. Air conditioned bus with free WiFi. No and no. The bus was sweltering without AC. The 1.5 hour ride to and from the falls was miserable! 3. A tour guide was described in the reviews and in the description for this event. No. Just a bus driver who mumbled intelligible phrases into a loud speaker occasionally. Same bus driver who failed to meet us before lunch, leaving us to try and find the restaurant on our own. 4. Stop at a winery with complimentary tasting. No and no. This is one of the reasons we booked this tour in the first place! When I asked the bus driver why no winery he gave me a funny look and said, oh we don’t do that anymore! So the tour has changed but Viator has not updated their listing. They probably won’t even publish this review. So if you made it to the end of this review, thanks, but don’t trust the listing. Call the tour operator because there may be more listings that are out of date.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Advertised as small group tour, hotel pick up and one of the stops being Niagara on Lake. NONE of this happened and company refusing to acknowledge any wrong doing or give any refund We were a group of 9 and booked small tour with hotel pick up. We were told with less than 24 hours notice of a different pick up point that was not even in walking distance. We had to get Uber to the pick up point, it was a 50 seater coach not a small vehicle, we had to wait and did not depart on time due to others being late, then had to go to airport for pick up, then late leaving Niagara - all leading to no stop at Niagara on Lake as advertised. Now taking legal advise on this as such poor attitude being shown from the company
