Historical reappraisal - We were also right here with our Cityticket. The museum looks a bit unremarkable from the outside, so we almost walked by, but inside it's really spectacular, because it has so many farsettes that there's really something for everyone. The dinosaurs, the wildlife, history of Rome, antiquity, Egypt, so you see a lot, and it was really very interesting to see the emergence of evolution. Here children should do their geography, or biology lessons, so you can really learn something.

Very diverse - Visit with the city pass no expectations. The building is very beautiful! There is something for everyone, from dinosaur skeletons to mummies and educational spaces for children. I enjoyed strolling around this place.

It’s like going to... - It’s like going to different countries in just one place! ☺️ My granda enjoyed and we had lots of fun exploring different cultures and histories.

Always an interesting and informative visit - Visiting family in Toronto , from Australia this is our second visit to ROM. The building is absolutely beautiful and the feeling of space and atmosphere is conducive to a relaxed and informative visit. The interactive earth exhibition was thoroughly absorbing. The minerals were beautiful. The quilting exhibition was magnificent and very engaging. We look forward to a return visit in the future.

Standard Museum - Nice museum, but how strange to have a really old building and then this really pointy, metallic, glassy structure? There were leaks in the ceilings in some areas and then lots of places closed off.

Bring your own lunch! - The museum itself was worth it but the "restaurant" in the basement is AWFUL! Poor quality, rude staff, and overpriced. The displays, particularly Egypt and Natural History, were very well done, but we left grumpy and exhausted from malnutrition. The bad food left a stronger imprint than the excellent museum education did. It was a summer of visiting family across Canada and local attractions. Drumheller's Royal Tyrell Museum's food offerings were surprisingly great! Vancouver Aquarium food is also pretty darn good - ocean wise, affordable, and tasty. The food at Ripley Aquarium and the ROM were huge disappointments (same with Centreville although not a museum). For a "must-see" attraction in a major metropolis ROM (and perhaps Toronto tourist locales as a whole) should take a page from BC and Alberta's books and up their culinary offerings.

Not up to ROM standards - Went to see the Cats exhibit. Not one of their better ones. Pretty short. Very basic. And didn't even cover all cat behaviors, like purring. Hope the next one is back up to ROM standards

A lot off exhibit - A lot off exhibit, been many times and always enjoyed. Prices should reflect exhibit availability. Hopefully better next time
