Bree is the BEST!! Go West tours has a keeper! - Bree was an absolutely wonderful tour guide. She made sure the group was always accounted for and gave lots of information along the way. As a bonus she had a lovely sense of humor and was joyful throughout the day. In addition she has a strong desire to travel, so be generous and remember to reward her kindness. Her music list was great too! Thank you Bree!!!

A must - I enjoyed riding with others on the Great Ocean Road tour with Israel as our guide. As much as I was afraid that the whole day in the minivan would be too much, I wanted to see and experience the beauty of Australia without the hassle of renting a car and driving myself, so this tour was a good alternative. Yes, there was plenty of driving (time in the car) on this day. But the drive was interspersed with stops and walks at scenic viewpoints, wildlife spotting areas, and cultural sites. At the end of the day, I felt that we had a lot of opportunities for walking ( my phone recorded over 13k steps). The ride was not too bad (I have motion sickness). Australia has a lot of natural beauty, and the Twelve Apostles are a must-see. There was enough time for restroom breaks and food. Our guide, Israel, entertained us (he sang for us), played excellent themed music, and provided much information.

Good day out - This is a long day but it is broken up well with sights and stops. Well paced. Our driver, Sherif, was an excellent guide. Very friendly and lots of good information about the things we saw. Would recommend.

Nice scenery, long drive - Very nice coastline views punctuated by occasional stops at incredible coastal structures along a very long drive. Excellent guide. Not appropriate for families with very young children (and enjoyment of extensive travel time dependent on their presence in the group)

Great Tour - We had a great time on our Great Ocean Road Tour. Our tour guide was fun and very knowledgable, there was a variety of stops allowing you to get the most out of the Great Ocean Road and the smaller size of the tour made it more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Average At Best! - Average at best! The trip started out being 20 mins late with no call, no answered emails, texts or anything. After seversl connection attempts, finally, we get a callback stating the driver was 4 mins away. The driver, Alisha, was super nice. However, the trip was a hot mess. Near the end of the trip, she literally asked everyone if we wanted to skip a portion and head back, we ALL said yesss...We were so over it. The weather did play a part, but the overall tour was mediocre. Also, at the 1st stop, they served muffins and tea...no gloves were used. That's extremely unsanitary. There were also no napkins provided. Not worth the money...in fact, I want some of my money back!

Go to Phillip Island instead! - This company (Go West) has a phenomenal tour to Phillip Island that is well-organized and worth a full day of bus travel. This tour, however, left me feeling like I wasted a full day. First: this tour is 10+ hours long with 7+ hours of that time spent on the bus; approx. 5 hours of that travel was inland with no ocean views. "Breakfast included" is instant coffee and cake, and each food stop thereafter is less than a hour - way too short to enjoy a meal on holiday. The restrooms at every stop had lines 20+ minutes long and this company accounted for 3 busses of people at each stop, each following the same schedule. Our tour guide repeatedly threatened to leave behind guests if we were in the line for the restroom at the designated departure time, even if the stop itself was only 20 minutes long. None of the stops took my breath away or made me feel like the trip was worth it. The rainforest was super cool, but again, we were only allowed 20 minutes there. The worst part is arguably the "dinner" stop which was 30 minutes in a ghost town with food options that ranged from awful to worse (McDonald's/KFC or a small 'noodles canteen' that they were obviously trying to peddle business to). The bus is tiny, your knees will be into the back of the person in front of you. The seatbelts sit in such a way that they dig into your neck. Wifi on the bus goes in and out, which is understandable, but the tour guide also drove in silence without so much as elevator music for the 2-hour drive back. The best part of the bus ride was actually a spider we lovingly named Steven who built a web right at eye level at the back of the tour bus, conveniently behind my head. (They obviously don't clean the bus because there were also items left behind from a tour the day prior.) Save yourself, go on the Phillip Island Penguin Parade tour instead (ask for Israel, he's the bee's knees!) The Great Ocean road tour is garbage.
