Known as Moonscape Overview as well as Skyline Overview, both names aptly describe the visceral experience of looking out over the expanse of natural wonders. Initially, just the locals and insiders were privy to these three locations. However, due to the ethereal allure they hold and their increasing exposure on popular social media platforms, they have transformed into hotspots attracting many visitors. However, it is advisable to explore these growingly popular areas with an experienced guide and a comfortable, sturdy vehicle capable of handling off-road terrains. We have dedicated over ten years to discover and capture these relatively exclusive locations. We can arrange a trip for you, be it for capturing epic photographs or for a sightseeing experience that competes with a few places in the world. Join us to explore the locations featured in those cool car and SUV commercials and the breathtaking fantastical landscapes that are a part of this unique experience. Please note, drones are allowed on this journey!

This address is The Hidden Falls gas station's parking lot. The same parking lot is shared with La Queva restaurant. Park under a big green sign with gas prices on. Your tour guide will arrive in a black or white SUV with the letters MERIDIAN on it.

Fantastic Experience! - We had an amazing time with Jen touring Moonscape Landing, Factory Butte, and Capitol Reef National Park. Jen was super friendly and knowledgeable and she made everything so fun and exciting. She was extremely helpful and made sure we were comfortable and safe and that we had sure footing any time we got out of the jeep. It was cool seeing the park along with the other landmarks and it was interesting learning about the history behind it all. We even got a few bonus features. We would definitely take another tour with Jen.

Wonderful Tour! - Jenny was awesome. She was super kind, and very knowledgeable about the region, the history of the rock formations, why certain buttes are famous and she graciously took banding photos of us with the otherworldly backgrounds. We truly enjoyed our time with her! Thank you Jenny and keep up the great work!

Scenic vistas can’t be beat by this great tour operator - Here’s a chance to visit what USED TO BE little-visited places by a very knowledgeable tour guide at a decent price. We’re glad that we did this and would use Meridian again and this tour guide (Mel?) with NO HESITATION. 5 stars.

Factory Butte & Moinscape with Meridian Tours - This was a great experience with Mel of Meridian Tours! Mel was steeped in the geology of the area and shared fun anecdotes about the area and life there.
The views were fabulous! Especially of Moonscape! The weather was a little off for photos of Factory Butte, but Mel was very accommodating in stopping when the lighting and positioning around the Butte was optimal! Highly recommend this tour!!

Beautiful scenery, great tour - This was a great tour. The views were fabulous, and the experience with the guide matched them. Our guide was passionate and knowledgeable, feeding us information on a wide range of historical and geological aspects of Capitol Reef. I didn’t want to step away from the “moonscape” - it’s such a beautiful and unusual vista. Book this tour and have a great time.
