Board our covered and comfortable boat for a 60-minute tour along the Tortuguero Canals. Your guide will explain the rainforest ecosystem and point out the places of greatest interest. Sendero Cerro Tortuguero - Cerro Tortuguero has an area of approximately 25 hectares and is the highest point on the entire Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, offering spectacular panoramic views of the forest and the dynamics of canals. In addition, it becomes a micro habitat and refuge for a large number of animal and plant species.
Upon arrival to Tortuguero Park, you will climb the hill directly to the lookout point where amazing views of the canales, rainforest and towns are available. - Tortuguero - Once these activities are carried out, our next stop will be the Town of Tortuguero, with its picturesque Caribbean atmosphere and beautiful colorful houses and shops that invite the visitor to spend a pleasant moment in their community. Best way to start our trip in Costa Rica - We had an absolutely fabulous day with Luis - he loves what he does and it shows. We were able to see a great deal - even he was excited to see a river otter. The tour was perfect - but combined with his knowledge of the animals, it was truly fantastic.

Amazing day! - This was an amazing day! Alberto was super fun and friendly. Tortuguero was beautiful. We saw lots of lizards, monkeys, and birds. The lunch was the best we have eaten in Costa Rica

Fantastic experience! - It was wonderful tour. So many interesting and exciting things to see and experience. Alberto was fantastic as a tour guide and driver, great knowledge of flora and fauna and very pleasant personality to spend the day with. Wonderful experience - We enjoyed the expert guidance of Alberto in orchestrating a memorable day exploring the varied wildlife-birds, monkeys, reptiles and sloths. The round trip boat excursion provided another perspective from the rainforest walk.

Fabulous day trip 🦥🐊🐒 - Amazing day out!
Luis was fabulous , professional, knowledgeable & could answer all of our questions. He speaks fluent English and was very helpful on every topic and question we asked.
It was a big day of driving but was very worth it . We saw a sloth, lots of crocodiles, iguanas, birds, spider & howler monkeys.
The view at the lookout lovely although it was raining on and off it was still wonderful.
The local restaurant lunch was delicious too!

Wonderful Interesting Trip; Highly Recommend. - Alberto provided us with one of the best tours we've ever been on. We drove through the countryside on the way over and he pointed out many features and landmarks to us. At the park we saw lots of birds and animals. Alberto didn't rush us, and pointed out many types of wildlife we'd have never noticed on our own. He even helped us get some great up close photos of them. After all of that, we went to a little restaurant with wonderful authentic Costa Rican food. Great tour with lots of nature. Highly recommend this interesting tour.

A different perspective--the rain forest from a boat! - What a wonderful experience. Our guide Alberto was a wealth of knowledge about the birds and animals, and he had a keen eye for spotting them! We saw toucans, a type of hawk, a black stork, a sloth, a cayman, the elusive red frog, and other birds. The boat ride down the Tortuguera canal was delightful, thanks to Sebas, our boat driver. We enjoyed a forest walk and climbed at least 100 stairs to a lookout where we could see the Caribbean. We had a delicious lunch in the village of Tortuguera. After lunch, we boated back to the car for the ride home. Many thanks to Alberto and Sebas for a fun, informative time in spite of the afternoon rain, something you learn to expect in the tropics!

Best tour guides - Amazing tour! It was the tour guides that really made this the best tour of my life though. They were extremely knowledgeable and did not skip a beat. They took many pictures for me so I was not distracted with my phone out all day. They truely let me enjoy their country to the fullest. I saw so much wildlife and plants I have never seen before and was very impressed. The pictures they took for me on my phone were like something out of a magazine. They really went the full distance. Thank you.

Simply amazing - Alberto is a gem, and this tour is amazing! The drive is beautiful, the rainforest is stunning, and the food was delicious. We saw a sloth, monkeys, a snake, and even an otter! The walk through Tortuguero gave us an opportunity to get local cuisine and awesome souvenirs. What a wonderful trip!
