Once in a lifetime experience - Seeing sea turtles nest at night was such an incredible experience! Our guide Carlos was so knowledgeable and we witnessed a huge green turtle laying her eggs, then camouflaging them and going back into the ocean. Truly a magical experience!

The Night, the Jaguar and the Turtle - On the tour to attend the spawning of a turtle we were lucky to have an exceptional Guide and passionate about nature: Célimo, a Guide with about 30 years of experience. Celimo gave us all the explanations about the turtles in a very clear and didactic way until we reached the point where we had to wait for the signal from the official to give us permission to go to where the turtle was. We were the first to go, in the middle of the night half cloudy and starry, followed by other small groups. Once there, Celimo went to inspect the grounds and soon gathered the other guides to tell them that “the kitten was there”. Turns out there was a jaguar lurking very close by, the turtle's first predator. Celimo caught our adrenaline, though our prudence prevailed cautiously. We finally attended the spawning of the turtle, how it covered the eggs and its return to the sea. It has been the Best Guide we have ever had and the best tour of our stay in Costa Rica. An unforgettable experience.

100% recommended memorable experience - It was an incredible experience!!! witnessing the spawning of the green turtle has been one of the best experiences I have had in Costa Rica. I'd like to tell you everything I saw, but you'd better be surprised just like I was. I value the respect and care you have for this beautiful animal, both from Tortuguero Park and from the Guide. Verny knows a lot about turtles, so I highly recommend it, there was no question he didn't know how to answer.

Great experience with the turtle watching - Our guide was Bernie, he was very knowledgeable and helpful. He managed to find another turtle on the beach after our “designated” turtle suddenly turned back to ocean. So we could see the whole process from the turtle getting ashore and digging up (from afar) to the eggs laying and hiding (when we were allowed to come closer) There were multiple groups watching the same turtle, but everything was well-organised.

Great turtle tour! - We had a great experience, with a lovely and devoted guide Verney! Very respectfull towards the nature, the animals and the national park!

Fantastic world of the turtles - It is rare to have such a unique and well organised experience. Not to be missed! It was possible to see various stages of egg laying without disturbing the turtles too much.

Excitement and learning - The Celimo Guide explained many interesting curiosities about the turtles’ ecosystem and reproduction process. The moments of watching the turtles spawn, camouflage the eggs and return to the sea, will be of those moments that you never forget. For our part I review the Guide a 10, very energetic and eager for us to see as much as possible, always respecting nature. All very comfortable and well organized by the agency.

A beautiful experience - The guide was very knowledgeable and spoke good English. Also, luckily enough we had no rain and clear skies (during rain season!). While standing on the beach and observing the beautiful turtles we were also able to see thousands of stars and even some shooting stars!

Wonderful walk through the natural park of tortoise - Great walk of about two hours. The wonderful Marco guide. It teaches you from the smallest spider, the red frogs to the families of monkeys. Highly recommended. We were able to go with an off-road cart with the girl so very comfortable! Thanks for everything
