Great tour operator very understanding. - Unfortunately we missed the tour due to a misunderstanding of the location pickup. It was our fault but the tour operator was very receptive and answered all of my questions about the issue. They have even provided a 50% refund. Next time I visit I will certainly use their tours

Great value for money - 3 Kamakura stops and Enoshima island sights - This tour was the best value for money tour which I took in Japan. During the day we saw a lot! The tour was very well organized and our English speaking guide (lady) was very knowledgeable. On the way there there was an accident which delayed us by 1 hour and we spent a little bit less time on each place. Nevertheless we visited many places: 1) Tsuruoka Hachiman Shrine - shrine in little village with shopping 2 shopping streets, 2) Kamakura Hasedara Temple - which were about 4 - 5 temples with various size of Buddha and other religious statues (including hundreds of little gods). On top there were beautiful hydrangeas in this place. 3) Kamakura Buddha - big Buddha statue tall 11 meters which is 2nd biggest in Japan and last, but not least 4) Enoshima Island - with shopping streets and many stairs to view tower Enoshima Sea Candle (you can take also elevators on the way up for a fee). Except for nice view there were also beautiful flowers close to the tower. Overall very full and satisfying trip. I recommend.

Mixed reaction to this tour - The tour agenda was fabulous! Unfortunately, it was a very rainy day, but the places we went were great. However, the time at the first temple was TOO short! We should have had a longer time there so we could eat lunch there. The time at the end at Enoshima was TOO long. There wasn't much to do after seeing the temple and the timing was not right for a meal, as it was too early. Finally, the tour guide was friendly, however, he really could have given us MUCH more information about where we were going, the history of the temples and the Buddha we saw. He left us completely alone on Enoshima, which was really mean. He could have given us the history of the temple by going up to it with us. I'm not sure what he did for those 3 hours! The rain was not fun, but I would have given this tour 5 starts IF the Tour Guide had been a better guide. He just seemed to see his role as accompanying us on the bus, give a brief overview of the place we'd see next and then disappear.

Good - Not the tours fault but it rained all day... heavily, being as this is an outdoor trip it was starting to become not so much fun by the afternoon of being wet. This trip wouldn't be suitable for children or teens as it's few sightseeing stops/shopping for adults. Was good to get out of Tokyo city and see some Greenery and more tradtional shops. Guide spoke good English and was fun.

A long day, but a great way to see key sites outside Tokyo hassle-free - Relaxed and relaxing pace, and a very safe driver. A highlight was seeing the Great Buddha of Kamakura.

Great way to spend day away from Tokyo - When visit Tokyo, this is a great day trip away, Kamakura is a ancient capital Japan. We visited the Tsuruggaoka Hachiman Shrine, and than spent time on Komachi street. We enjoyed some street food that was very tasty. Some of the other highlights are the huge bronze Buddha and the famous eleven-headed state of Kannon the goddess Mercy. The final stop is Enoshima a small island located west of Kamakura. Beautiful garden and a whole lot more. If you are lucky you will get to see Mt. Fuji on a clear day.
