- Chateau de Chambord - You will discover the Hunting lodge built by King Francois I, it is the largest chateau and the most spectacular piece of architecture. You will be impressed by its 426 rooms and its 282 fireplaces. Your tour guide will show and explain it’s mind blowing double helix staircase, probably a Leonardo da Vinci creation. The forest in which it is in is a national game reserve.

October 2024: Great Experience! - This was an absolutely amazing tour! Our guide,Charline was incredibly personable and knowledgeable regarding the regions, the chateaux and the area. The lunch was one of the best meals we had during our two weeks in France!

Wonderful.day trip! - We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Our guide, Marie, was knowledgeable, entertaining and very kind. The chateaux were beautiful, and the history behind them was very interesting. And our tour and wine tasting at Cave Ambacia was wonderful. The wine was delicious and you could tell the owner/winemaker and sommelier were both passionate about their wine. 10/10 recommend!

A great overview of this region - The sights were fabulous as well as the tour guide. Our guide was knowledgeable, conscientious, and friendly. The cave wine tour is a must if you are interested in the method for wine tasting and wine identification.
It’s a long day but well worth it.

Exceeded expectations - The wine tasting was excellent. Learnt a lot about wine that I didn’t know with the sommelier/ winemaker sharing his knowledge in a way that was easily understood. Our guide Marie made the the visit the the 2 Chateaux easy and interesting with her background information and direction. Fully recommended.

Great day - This was a great tour. It was a long day but definitely worth it. Lily was an informative guide with a warm personality that made you feel comfortable asking questions. Her graphics of the royal family trees made the stories easy to follow. The 2 Chateaus were magnificent. The Winery in the cave was fascinating. The lunch (not provided) and the wines were delicious.

Chateaus and wine tasting tour - This was a long day, but absolutely worth our time. Marie was brought, enthusiastic, patient, and knowledgeable. The wine tasting was extremely educational (the best I've ever attended) and yummy. Of course, the French countryside and chateaus were gorgeous.

Beautiful castles should have gone on our own - Tour felt a bit rushed but the locations were over the top amazing! Tour guide knew all the best spots to get the best views. She was a bit reserved but knowledgeable. Would tell you key details but would not go in depth on history. Sometimes we learned more reading the plaques than what the guide stated

A cave and two castles - The castles were amazing. Our guide was knowledgeable to a point. She admitted she had to learn about five or so different castles and so got facts very confused. She didn't talk much at all on the way. The wines at Caves Ambacia were not good at all, but it was interesting. Didn't know ahead of time that they don't grow their own grapes and just age the wines. A little disapointing
