What an awesome tour - We booked this tour last minute as an opportunity to see the Great Barrier Reef from Townsville. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, friendly, and never took their eyes off us to make sure we were safe in the water and on board. The staffing ratios to swimmers was great - there was always a guide or lifesaver almost within arm's reach for attention when required. They catered to our specific accessibility needs, were encouraging, and helpful to talk to when looking at the reef. The food was hearty and the snorkel gear was being sanitised as we went, which was reassuring. If you didn't want to swim, that was fine too. The staff even helped look after a younger passenger to give the mum and dad and opportunity to see the reef. We were really impressed with the whole trip and would definitely recommend to anyone considering booking.

Beautiful snorkling on the reef and seeing MOUA. Friendly, fun trip - Excellent day of snorkling on the Great Barrier Reef. Easy to find meeting spot, 2.5 hour trip out to the reef including stops to see whales and dolphins en route. Snacks provided at appropriate times - fresh fruit and biscuits AM & PM teas, and lunch (dyi sandwiches- provided) between the two bouts of snorkling. Loved the MOUA installations. The day was so beautiful with still calm waters and high clarity. Knowledgeable and friendly staff on board. We were very lucky to get a cancellation at the last minute as we hadn’t booked ahead. Highly recommend

Fun day - We had a fun day. The reef is beautiful. The crew were great, professional, competent and friendly. Lunch, morning and afternoon tea very good. Plenty of time to snorkel. It was pretty cold on 27 July and not everyone did the second snorkel.

One of the best experiences ever! - Top ten experiences of my entire life. Our family went with the amazing SeaLink crew to the reef and got to experience MOUA! The crew were exceptional, the reef was spectacular and so close! We were lucky enough to go on World Ocean day, we were in the company of legends who were so passionate and willing to share their time and knowledge. Absolute highlight of our lives!

Disappointment Down Under - Disappointing, I travelled from overseas for this. Despite good weather conditions and visibility we could not see the the Museum of Underwater Art on this snorkel tour which our Sealink boat was apparently situated above - even at low tide. Came across 3 of the Sentinel statues on the reefs edge during the first snorkel which were haunting, even when viewed from above from a depth of 5m - but really not enough, for what is supposed to be the keystone part of this snorkel tour. No information was given about the artist or the artwork and the stories behind them. The one map they had onboard, I had to fetch after the first snorkel and ask them to orient me to where things were. It was out of date - only showing the Glasshouse with no info about the Sentinels, and didn't have the names or any information about any of it. The staff I approached were uninterested or uninformed enough to help me with such a simple query. I was left to my own devices for the second snorkel and though the sea life was vibrant in parts, before I knew it, it was over and we were heading back to Townsville. Fine if you live locally, and you're there for the corals and sea life of the great barrier reef will a little extra art on the side - but frankly I wouldn't recommend this if you're there for Jason Decaires Taylor's amazing undersea sculptures - arrange a guided experience and scuba it instead.
