Let’s explore a historic harbor town, Iwase in Toyama prefecture, Japan known for its preserved old town streets. We will start our journey from a beautiful park, get on a boat along the canal heading to Iwase, and return via a modern tram ride.

During the boat ride, you’ll pass through a remarkably unique water gate. This gate, designated as a National Important Cultural Property, functions like an elevator for water.
