Papatya Sk. No:2 - Alanya is located in a geographically favorable location for paragliding, with two different takeoff points available. One takeoff point is at an elevation of 380 meters, while the other is at 800 meters. At Pirate Paragliding, we prefer the takeoff point at 800 meters to ensure our customers have a better experience.
Is experience required for paragliding?
Tandem paragliding is done with a professional pilot. The highly experienced and certified pilot will connect you in front of them, and takeoff occurs after a short run of 1-2 meters. Since the pilot handles both takeoff and landing, no prior experience is necessary for paragliding. Depending on weather conditions, your pilot may allow you to control the paragliding wing during the flight.
Is hotel transfer included in the ticket price?
Hotel transfers are included in the ticket price for locations in and around Alanya. If you request a transfer from more distant areas such as Side, Belek, Antalya, MuratpaÅŸa, there may be an additional fee. Alternatively, you can come to our office on your own.

Alanya paragliding is done up to the Kleopatra beach at an altitude of 700 meters. This activity, which is full of adrenaline and action, is carried out in the company of professional pilots. It is an exciting flight that takes about 20 minutes.
The sport of Paragliding is to take off by running from a high hill, instead of an airplane, with a parachute that looks like a free jump parachute at first glance. The parachute, which is laid open on a sloping and high hill, fills with air when the pilot starts running and takes off with the pilot.
The duration of the flights can last for kilometers / hours depending on the performance of the material used and the experience of the pilot. It can be a single person as well as double (tandem) wings.
