A ceremony that reflects life itself - A very interesting ceremony. Life is a circle and as such we experienced it. The ceremony is represented in 4 stages and. The dancers I saw were for 4 different ages so I made my own interpretation of 4 important moments in a persons life. While the life keeps spinning we keep growing until we find our true selfs again. This is not a show but an opportunity to experience life through the eyes of Rummi through the Whirling Dervish’s. What they do requires a lot of practice and patience!!

Interesting and captivating - This was a really interesting ceremony. It was good that we read up in advance to understand the basics of their beliefs. The intro done by the local expert was informative (but he should use a microphone). The whirling was so captivating and the live musicians were extremely talented. Value priced at 25 euro. We bought tickets across the street and down a bit from the venue. Really interesting.

Great cultural experience in an intimate theater setting - This is my friend and my first time in Turkey, and we decided to see the famous whirling dance in Istanbul. Before the show begins, there was a presenter that gave a brief background info of the dance, and it took place in a newly renovated small theater, the guests got to see the performance up close in a comfortable air-conditioned setting. We loved that it started out with live music, and the dancers came out and began the performance. The imagery displayed on the wall during the dance was also very cool and matched the vibe. Although I wish they didn't put up the posters for where to book tickets in the background during the entire time, it became kinda distracting and not aesthetically pleasing.

Whirling Dervish - It was a good experience. Something i wanted to see for many years. They should have explained that this is a spiritual thing and not a dance which most people would think.

How do they not get dizzy - Super impressive performance but missing 5 stars as we waited a good 40 minutes for the show to start. It was a bit awkward, would have been good to know what was going on

It's really worth the detour. Reserve! - A very interesting evening. I didn't feel any tourist trap... the dances, music and songs were authentic

Atmospheric experience - Very atmospheric altho there were only three dervishes (none in red as pictured). Go early as some seats are way better than others and the organisation is a little chaotic!

Sham!!! Stay away. - Show was oversold three fold. People could not even get in to stand. People complaining were told to return at 20:0” for a second show. Staff were dismissive and rude. Managed to get my money back after threatening to call the tourist police. People of other nationalities were patronised and belittled. Stay away!!
