This experience is tailored according to your interests. With the great connections we have, while saving your energy, time and money, we will also give you an experience only accessible to locals! You will learn local stories, pov to the traditions, bargaining, hospitality, finest Turkish products (with the unique vendor access we provide!) We’ll take you to the finest stores for carpets, souvenirs, jewelry, bags, towels, scarves, lamps, and more - places where you will be treated like a local. Moreover to these, the bazaar is located at an easy access area to the Port if you are coming with the Cruise or staying in the areas close to Metro, Ferry or Tram! You will be hosted by Gökay or Şevval depending on our availability, and will be reached, so that we can customize the experience according to your needs.

If you are coming by cruise, you can take the tram infant of the port and ride few stops to the bazaar. You can use you credit card to get on the tram. Its pretty convenient to use!

Gökay the best guide to the Bazaar Marketplace - Gökay was an amazing host. We booked him on little notice and he responded immediately. We had 3 hours to see the Bazaar Market and had very specific kinds of stores we wanted to shop. He took us to all of them and even spent an extra hour to make sure we were happy. He knows this market like the back of his hand and avoided the crowds. It was fun to take the tram with him. We highly recommend him without hesitation.

I felt cared for and had fun! - I loved the experience as I didn’t want to navigate the overwhelmingly huge bazaar alone while not knowing how to haggle 😬 and Gokay was the right person to guide me through it.
Even though another person accidentally booked the same time as me, Gokay managed to arrange the right experience for both of us!
He went above and beyond to make sure I have everything I needed even when I had a problem with my credit card that almost ruined my day. He was trying to find ways for me to enjoy the shopping experience until my bank sorted the issue. He has a good network of sellers and they were also going above and beyond to make sure we were happy.
The best part about this was that it felt like I was going out with friends! Gokay has such a chill energy, I felt comfortable sharing my thoughts, asking questions, and just having great conversations throughout the experience.

Great experience - Awesome experience. Would recc Gökay for ANY TOURIST traveling to Istanbul and wants to do a day of shopping. Vendors can be aggressive, and because no prices are displayed, you never know if you're getting a good deal. As a local, Gökay was able to navigate this massive bazaar and take us exactly where we wanted to go. The vendors were friendly and hospitable. We were served Turkish tea and pastries at almost every store. Gökay was responsive and very detailed in his instructions prior to the outing. We arrived on a cruise ship and took the tram to the meeting spot. It was VERY busy. He took us to great stores and gave us some history along the way. Well worth the money so far. Will DEFINITELY update this review once I receive my merchandise which is to be shipped to me

Great experience, must do! - What a great experience! I know I would have felt lost and overwhelmed if I went to the Grand Bazaar on my own. Gokay was patient, took me to shops I would not have been able to find on my own, helped me negotiate and, yes I did spend a lot (!), but I feel the quality and service from the shopowners are worth it. Everyone was pleasant, friendly and not pushy at all. This is a place for good quality buying so it can be a little expensive. My budget is usually high street brands and costume jewellery but I invested (yes, I feel they are investments) in 18K gold jewellery with real stones, authentic scarves/pashminas, a silk carpet and Turkish lamps. I know they are going to last a lifetime. Anytime I am back in Istanbul, I will call Gokay for a tour. Honestly, I cannot recommend him enough. He really is a gem of a person.

Istanbul Bazaar with Gokay - Absolutely amazing experience. Gökay was an excellent guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the city and culture. Very responsive and great with directions. The highlight of the tour is sitting down and talking with the vendors. I found them to be most welcoming. You can sample everything. The tea and pastries we had before purchasing the lamp was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Great experience! - What a great experience shopping at the Grand Bizarr in Istanbul!
With SO many shops it would have been overwhelming without our guide, Gokay! Even with short notice, he was very organized. He enquired the night before of our interest in order to map out ahead of time. He even provided us with the detailed train stops we would need to take to and from, to safely arrive at our meeting location.
Once we arrived he took us to the best shops making the most of our time! Along the way he provided us with historical details along the way, which my husband loved! I highly recommend booking this if you are going to the Grand Bizarre!

Amazing Grand Bazaar Shopping Experience - We had an amazing time at The Grand Bazaar with Gokay. He was great at communicating with us well in advance so he could customize the tour for us. We went to all the shops that had the exact products we were looking to purchase. Since the bazaar is so large this made it so we were able to accomplish exactly what we wanted during our 3 hours. He even helped me with the negation with all the shops and I was able to make great deals on watches, purses and jewelry. I highly recommend Gokay to anyone that wants to have a great experience at the Grand Bazaar!

We had an amazing time at... - We had an amazing time at our tour. The guid is amazing, his English is very good and his connections to venders is amazing. We were treated very well and got to enjoy the full bazar experience. We felt very safe and comfortable. A once in a lifetime experience would recommend.

Grand bazaar and spice market tour - What an absolutely amazing day we had shopping in the Grand Bazaar with Sevval! So much fun. She taught us how to bargain and showed us some of her favorite spots. The bargaining was light hearted and fun and was usually accompanied with tea, lemonade and sometimes cookies. There was never any pressure to buy anything. After we all had a delicious lunch at a local place that was excellent. It didn’t end there. Throughout the rest of our stay Sevval sent us addition tips, restaurant suggestions, Hamas she liked. Truly a wonderful experience

Great BAZZAR DAY - Picture includes alternate tour guide and my wife with the hat. He guided us thru the maze of shops to a few that he trusted. Scarfs and jewelry and coats. Bargain/ it is expected. 25% of original asking price is where things get serious. Never give them a number. Just keep asking for their best price. Have guide Was fantastic- he had great English skills, friendly , met us at our hotel and took us to the bazzar via public transportation. This was an extra as our hotel was near where he lived. He Is a lawyer by education.
Can’t say enough positive things We went early like 9am when bazzar opens, fewer crowds
