Generally happy - I had an absolutely amazing experience at this Turkish bath and massage! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm, inviting, and truly authentic. The staff was incredibly professional and attentive, making sure I felt comfortable at all times. The traditional hammam treatment was rejuvenating, leaving my skin feeling soft and refreshed. The massage that followed was pure bliss—expert hands worked away all my stress and tension. The entire experience was both relaxing and revitalizing. I left feeling completely renewed. If you're looking for the perfect place to unwind, this is definitely the place to go!

A wonderful experience! - A wonderful traditional experience! We booked the private Turkish bath with 30minute massage option and it was great. Our therapists Layla and Chi Chi were great at leading us through the experience even with a language barrier. The massage is kind of intense and more aggressive than any massage I've had in the US. They literally climb on top of you and will try and crack your back/neck. They finished the massage with a clay face mask then brought us to the sauna to dry out. They then brought us to the Turkish bath which was fun with the bubbles and scrub. They even washed my hair! Overall a great experience that was certainly interesting and a highlight to our trip. Make sure in Google maps you search for Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Sultanahmet Hotel because the coordinates in viator brought me somewhere more than 12minutes away.

My husband and I opted... - My husband and I opted for the private bath and 60 minute massage which we both really enjoyed. I tend to worry about the cleanliness of spas, but found myself pleasantly surprised. The spa was clean and the service was top notch. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend - Fantastic! Sauna, steam, and a bath on a hot marble slab that included a scrub and bubbles. Never have I felt so pampered. Space was clean, relaxing and inviting. We opted for the 60-minute massage to boot, and the technicians were amazing. Warning - the location is a bit difficult to find if you are not familiar with that section of Istanbul. It is located in the Ramada hotel. Once we were there, it was definitely the highlight of our trip!

I would not recommend this venue - The scrub and massage were OK but the place is falling down and dirty. The swimming pool had an electrical cord going into it and all the attendant did was sit in his little office and smoke. The receptionist was just weird. She was older, which is not an issue, but she spent too much time telling us about herself - that she is a Doctor, engineer, captain in the army and that she saved over 12 people in the Iran Iraq war. Maybe she did but we were all very skeptical. We wanted to know what to expect from the experience but we sort of felt like we were getting her odd biography instead of important information. The bubble scrub was fun and felt great but the massage was a bit invasive. I felt the massage therapist had no regard for my private areas. The physical space was in great need of a renovation and repair and there was trash and dust all around. This is just my opinion.

Not the best spa experience. - My husband and I wanted to try Turkish hamam for the first time and we chose Sehzade because it allows couples to do it in private areas. The experience of the Turkish hamam was interesting however there are a few points that we are not happy with. Firstly, the heated marble table was designed for one person, so if you like to do it as a couple, it gets a little crampy. My husband is slender and I am petite, and I had one foot hanging over the table. And each time we were asked to turn over, I risk of falling off especially when you are all slippery with soap. Next, we had our massage in a private room, and it is supposed to have private sauna. But we were told that it is not working. So we were asked to go to the main sauna and steam room which was located at a different floor of the hotel. We had to take the glass lift and it passes by the dining, where people can see us half naked (only towels on). When we got to the swimming pool level, the steam and sauna rooms were not open. We travelled back up with the same lift, and were made to wait for a 10-15 minutes, which we then decided to forget about it and left. Because it will take some time for the saunas to heat up and we have already waited long enough. we were quite disappointed about this. Lastly, they only provide you with only slippers and towel. Make sure you bring bikini or extra undies unless you don't mind buck naked for the massage. Although I think the female masseuse will not be comfortable if you are a man. I may be wrong. Ultimately, I think the steps of the Spa package offered is not in the correct sequence. They started off with Turkish bath, and then oil massage, then next to steam and sauna. Logically, I think it should start off with oil massage, then steam and sauna, then lastly with Turkish bath. So you leave feeling ultra fresh and clean.
