We kick off our journey with a visit to the Atatürk Mansion, a shining example of urban architecture in the city. We then head to the Ayasofya Mosque / Museum, having appreciated the mansion’s original furnishings and majestic garden. Along the way, we take in sights such as the Trabzon Castle, the Gülbahar Hatun Mosque and Tomb, the Zağnos Valley, the Historical Zağnos Pasha Bridge and Ortahisar (Kaleiçi) Quarter before reaching Hagia Sophia. Erected as a Byzantine church in the 13th century, this building is invaluable due to its unusual frescoes. Currently, this structure operates as a mosque; after viewing the exhibits, we explore the Sera Lake Nature Park.

Following a pause for lunch at a local eatery, we visit the Trabzon City Museum and subsequently head to Boztepe for a sweeping view of the city. Our tour culminates with a visit to Boztepe, after which we part ways and look forward to seeing you on our next tour.
