Brasov - Brasov, or”Kronstadt” was founded by the Knights of the Teutonic Order in the 13th century. One of the most impressive landmarks in Brasov is the Black Church, a Gothic-style church that dates back to the 14th century. The church was named after the damage it suffered during a great fire in the 17th century, which blackened its walls. Nowadays, it is one of the most iconic buildings in Brasov, with its impressive bell tower and beautiful stained glass windows.

Brasov’s rich heritage, history, and architecture make it one of the jewels of Transylvania. Cetatea Rupea - Step into the time-worn stones of Rupea Fortress, a remarkable historical monument perched high on a hill. During your engaging a 30 minutes stop, uncover centuries of history and tales that breathe life into its imposing walls. The fortress’ dramatic ruins, thought to be the ancient Dacian defence fort Scaunul Rotund, are a testimony to the area’s tumultuous past. As you traverse its multiple citadels, each echoing a different era, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views over the rolling landscapes of Transylvania.
