Fabulous experience - I loved the way the tour is organized. It's a new experience for me. Watching flamingos visiting saltpans, an individual wind mill guide for me, excellent work. And the sunset pictures absolutely gorgeous. Thank you.

Nice view - Very happy with the Flamingo Way service, punctual, and the driver was professional and very friendly, we were entitled to 1 small souvenir. Nice little excursion of more or less 2h30 where we were able to see salt mills and also discover the history of this place. We were lucky to be able to see 2 pink flamingos.

Sunset visit to the Salt Pans - The tour was comprehensive, gave history and current info and was in both English and Italian. Ninni was our tour guide and was very helpful

Awesome! - Were it not in the magical hour of sunset, I would not have enjoyed so much as I actually did. We were taken to Saline and after being guided through the museum, with an very efficient guide, started the best part of the tour. The tour organizer carefully planned the timing so that we had about 30 minutes until the sunset, during which I could take beautiful photos. There were also seemingly professional photographers waiting for the sunset. That only reinforces the scenic value of the setting. This made the highlight of my 8 days journey in the southern to western part of Sicily. Thank you to the tour operatour and the driver. Ciao!

Disappointing - This was disappointing all around. First I waited 25 minutes at the pickup point. We slowly rode to the salt pans with some recorded voice narration. We were dropped at the side of the road to walk and look at some salt pans, then picked up and driven the rest of the way to the museum. The museum itself is interesting. However, the driver left us there after, stating he would be back in an hour to an hour and a half. All in all, the trip door to door was over 3.5 hours for approximately 30 interesting minutes

Make your own way to the visitor centre - Not worth the money. Make your own way there to the visitor centre for the informative talk by the guide from the visitor centre. There’s not much to the tour at all. If you can go to the salt pans at Marsala it’s worth it because they have a much better visitor centre and there’s the nearby Phoenician island of Mozia to visit. It’s really close and there are constant trips out by small boat ever day. We had been told that our group was the only group that was on the Trapani salt pan tour but there were several other groups on the mini bus when we got picked up and also at the visitor centre talk too. This wasn’t a big problem but was not as advertised.
