During the tour we are always looking for our local dolphins. The boat is equiped with a bathroom and two thirds of the vessel are under shade. A great family adventure, fun for all ages

Our Shell Island and dolphin tour is fun for families of all ages, the tour includes a stop at Shell Key preserve, a popular nature preserve known for numerous different types of shells. Snorkeling equipment is available for use at Shell Island. During the tour we will be looking out for wild dolphins, numerous dolphins inhabit the waters around the area. Our vessel is a US Coast Guard inspected vessel carrying up to 42 passengers. The vessel is easy to board both at our dock and the beach. The boat also offers plenty of shade for those trying to stay out of the sun and it is also equiped with a restroom.

Awesome trip! - Not only did we have a beautiful day, but we saw so many dolphins! On the way back we saw a pod of 5 dolphins that included a literal days old baby dolphin! We found several cool shells at Shell Ley Preserve, and I had a Manatee swim 5 feet away from me at Shell Key!
We have been trying to take this tour for 3 years and always get rained out, but not this time! We had the best time! Thank you Captain Ian and First Mate Claire! You guys are awesome!

A fun family activity - Its was a very relaxing cruise though we weren’t able to see any dolphins we saw a lot beautiful sights. The beach we stopped at for shelling was beautiful and there were plenty of beautiful shells and the water was beautiful. The boat driver and his daughter made a good team together.

Shells and dolphins galore - The trip was great. Saw several dolphins, even mom and her baby. We found some incredible shells. Would recommend 10/10

Awesome tour! - We had the best time on this tour! We saw several dolphins and Claire was an awesome guide! Shell Island was so fun, crystal clear water and soft powdery sand beach!

Highly recommend - The tourer was very polite and led us to see numerous dolphins. Was a relaxing and fun time. Would highly recommend to people visiting the St. Petersburg area.

Boat tour - Got to see a few dolphins! Was a nice experience. Just be aware that the seats are hard for those without much natural cushioning!

Nice trip but didn’t include snorkeling as stated. - Operators very nice and boat clean. We paid for a trip to include snorkeling as what’s stated on our confirmation with you but there was no snorkeling. You should not misrepresent.

It was just "ok". - It was a nice boat ride. Didn't see much dolphine activity though, and didn't spend a lot of time looking, I guess you only get so much time, and they can't control the dolphins.. so it was just "ok". Snorkeling is not actual Snorkeling, it's just a pair of goggles and a snorkel. Could have just bought a pair of goggles and snorkel and done the same thing from our beach front hotel. There's more shells at our beach in St.Pete than we seen at shell island. Overall, it was just ok. Basically we paid $55 for a boat ride.
