Highly Recommend - Calep Rocks!!! - Awesome. Calep set us all up and was super chill and hilarious. Paddled out through John Pass, saw cool boats, dolphins everywhere, used chairs provided & had drinks on island (it was like a big party…Boats were there playing music… floating bars…floating taco stand…so cool). Timed it perfect…got there at low tide. Set up chairs on island, had drinks and just let the tide come in around us…sitting in 4 inches of water before we packed it all up to head back. On way back went through mangrove tunnel, and dolphins came 10 feet away from us. Highly recommend. Ask for Calep! He rocks!

Amazing every time - This is our 3rd year doing this kayak trip. It’s amazing every time. I only wish it was longer! We have only done the 2:00 trip. Maybe next time we’ll do the 10:00 trip. The mangrove is always a great place to float thru and enjoy the scenery and the wildlife. Logan was wonderful and helpful. The company is professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

A day at the sandbar - Easy to learn. Guide very helpful and funny. It’s not difficult and very relaxing. You can’t tip it over and the trip through the mangrove is well worth it.

Tailgate that you are not invited to - This is simple an equipment rental. Nothing else. Lots of active boats in the area so little wildlife. Puts you into a boat tailgate with thumping music. Not at all what I expected. Rusty equipment got orange all over my clothes that does not come out.

Company never showed!! - The company and kayaks never showed. 9 of us (unrelated) waited for a while hour at the drop off point and never got word from Sharkey's. We all called multiple times but finally just left.

Equipment Rental Only - This is more accurately a simple equipment rental. The area you kayak is super populated by boats so you have to be careful. We did a 2 person kayak. My husband’s seat did not snap in. Once you get to the mangroves, after going through a boat intersection, there is a cool (but very short- 2 minute) tunnel. There isn’t much wildlife due to the heavy boat traffic. Through the tunnel, you come out at essentially a boat tail gate party. Tons of loud music, party scene. We parked on the sandbar and sat for a while taking in all the boats and party scene. But, you feel like you need a beer in your hand and that you are missing 20 of your closest friends. Rust from the equipment stained everything I was wearing permanently. The advertising for this is misleading. It’s just an equipment rental, sign away all responsibility and hope you came to party.
