- Hercegovacka Gracanica - On this tour, you will have the opportunity to feel the charms of the southernmost city of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its surroundings.
After the departure from your hotel, we will drive to our first destination for approximately 2 hours of travel time.
First, we will visit the Hercegovačka Gračanica church, set on top of the hill above the town, the place with the most scenic view of Trebinje.
After visiting this viewpoint, we go down to Trebinje, a picturesque town with a wonderful blend of different cultures.
- Trebinje Old City - Take a stroll through the old town’s narrow streets and see the most important sights of charming Trebinje. The Arslanagića Bridge, a dream for artists and photographers alike, takes visitors 400 years back in time. Next, make your way to the so-called ‘Poet’s Square’ and take a seat under the 115-year-old trees, the town’s symbol. Feel the unique energy of this beautiful place, where Emir Kusturica, the world-famous movie director, made one of his last movies, with Monica Belluci in the leading role.
The next stop will probably be your favorite.
- Tvrdos Monastery - Built at the beginning of the 16th century, the medieval Serbian Orthodox Monastery Tvrdoš, dedicated to the Rising of the Holy Mother of God, still represents the center of Orthodox Christianity of the region.
Thanks to the high-quality soil and flat terrain, extensive vineyards have been grown ever since, which is why the monastery is also known for its wine, carefully preserved in the old stone basement dating back to the 15th century.
Here, you will have the exceptional opportunity to enjoy the authentic wine varieties (native to this region) of Vranac and Žilavka, as well as hear the incredible stories of the monks who take care of the winemaking process.
- Orjen - It is time to return to Montenegro and enjoy lunch in a Stone village, where you will have the opportunity to try many traditional delicacies.
Our final location of the day is a St. Nicholas church, the place of the glorious sunset view over Boka bay to mark the end of our tour.
