A less travelled route, Lemosho offers a more pristine trail to the summit, with lush rainforest and fabulous wilderness experiences, particularly on the first three days of the climb. The time taken to walk across the wilderness of the Shira Plateau allows climbers to get used to the altitude before tackling the busy Barafu route to the summit.

A Priceless once-in-a-lifetime experience - Trekking to Mount Kilimanjaro waterfall was just one of the activities I did And well worth it. Ole and his brother Alfred went above and beyond what I expected to accommodate our group and when I return to Tanzania with family and friends Ole will be the first person I contact. His overall knowledge of the area plus the little things no one mentioned in the reviews I read before going which only he knew from personal experience is priceless. Everyone in our group had such a great once in a lifetime experience and I'm excited to return knowing will be in good hands. Thanks again Ole for making our time they're worry free and blessings to you your family and staff... see you next time and Hakuna Matata!

Outstanding Experience with Sirikwa! - My experience with Srikwa travel was fantastic. I’d like to include some personal details of my Kilimanjaro journey to better display the amount of professionalism and care that was shown to my friend and I. Our Kilimanjaro guides were named Leon and Johnathon. Both of them were very personable, spoke excellent English, and went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of. If there was ever an issue with the pace of the hike, food served, or wake time, they would instantly alter our schedule to accommodate both of us. Ole, our personal contact, was always an email away, and sufficiently provided us with not only a successful Kilimanjaro climb but also the following hotel trips and sightseeing spots. He made sure to make us a priority, and continuously checked in when we needed it. Our porters and cooks were of fine quality, and often joked with us and had regular conversations about our progress on the mountain. We both found them all to be hilarious and fun-loving people. Joshua, one of our servers, stood out as someone who made it his pleasure to stop in and check on us. Even after the mountain when we did the safari ride at Ngorongoro crater, Johnathon tagged along with us and our driver Patience. Both made the drive a memorable experience, consistently informing us about the animals and their habits. Johnny was an excellent driver and got us to where we needed to be at any time. All and all, it was a wonderful time with Sirikwa, and I can’t recommend them enough.

What a Team!! - Just back from climbing Kilimanjaro. If you are looking for a company to look after you and tailor your climb these are the guys to choose. We did the 7 day Lemosho route. Four of us were in our group and we had 16 amazing people looking after us, we wouldn't have made the summit without them. Seeing some of the bigger companies on the mountain I'm so pleased we picked Sirikwa, we had a smaller group which meant we could get to know the team. You won't regret booking with Sirikwa I promise.

8 Days Lemosho Route with Sirikwa Travel - Without reservation I would recommend Sirikwa Travel to anyone who wishes to climb Kilimanjaro. We were looked after all the way. The guides were professional and we felt safe. The 8 days on the mountain with the amazing kilfighters (porters) and guides was not just a hike, but a cultural experience. They sang to us as we climbed, and danced to keep us warm. We even learnt a few words of Swahelee. They showed such kindness and caring towards us, as they carried our gear, setup camp, provided meals, and then always checking that we were warm and drinking enough fluids. Hakuna Matata. (No Worries). I loved the trek with Sirikwa and the challenges on my way to Uhuru Peak, but the best part was all the people who helped and shared it with me.

Premium service - Sirikwa Travel made my Kilimanjaro trek and safari adventure a trip to remember. Their attention to detail from my pickup at the airport to the drop off when it was time to leave showed their commitment to creating a quality customer experience. The guide was excellent and gave me the extra motivation I needed to make it to the summit. Sirikwa even accommodated my last minute request for a safari when I found I had extra time prior to my departure flight. I'm already planning a return trip and will definitely use them again.

Definitely would recommend Sirikwa - Our group of four from Boston, MA recently completed a two day safari and an 8 day trek of Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho route with Sirikwa Travel. We were greeted at the airport on December 15 by Mary, the manager at Sirikwa, who immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable. Within a few minutes we all felt that we had made new friend. Mary’s bright smile and willingness to answer all of our questions -even the silly ones- definitely put us at ease . Moreover , her supervision over the course of our trip, from accommodations to food to the actual logistics of the hike, were exemplary. Our tour began with two days of Safari on December 16 and 17. We visited Tarangire National Park & Ngorongoro Crater. At Ngorongoro Crater we were privileged to visit a Masai settlement . Our Guides Pasiansi & Ojung were very knowledgeable & took care of us very well. We stayed one night at the beautiful Endoro Lodge in Karatu . We returned to Moshi on the evening of Dec 17. On December 18, we spent our morning at Msamaria, an orphanage which Oinoth supports thru the Sirikwa Foundation. There are no words to adequately describe our feelings of our experience at the orphanage . After leaving Msamaria, we a spent a couple of hours shopping and having lunch in Moshi. On our return to our hotel , Mary introduced us to Jonathan, Leon, and Amadeus, who were to be our guides for the trek. They checked our gear to make sure we were adequately prepared and then gave us a detailed briefing of the trek. Once again , as with Mary, we immediately felt comfortable, at ease, and safe with our three guides . On Dec 19th , we began the first day of our trek by , by meeting all our porters and making our way to the to the Londorossi gate. The 8 days on the mountain with these porters & guides were just amazing. We depended on them and felt safe. Without exception , our entire crew which consisted of 3 guides, 4 auxiliary support ( who attended to our food, shelter, and bathroom needs), and 16 porters were amazing . Our porters were hard working , sincere, and always had a smile for us. Our “support team” helped us with everything - be it carrying our day pack when needed, tying our boot laces, putting on our gaiters, & helping us dry our wet clothing. Richard, our cook was super. We enjoyed all our meals (porridge, eggs & toast for breakfast, pasta, rice, stews & variety of soups). Our waiter, Janja, made sure we all ate well & drank enough water. We were grateful to our tent porters who made sure our tents were ready for us when we arrived at the campsites and that our gear was properly distributed into our respective tents . To Jerani , a special shout out for taking care of our portable toilet. All members of our team were wonderful . Summit night was planned perfectly. All our 3 guides gave us the summit night briefing which was so helpful. We all had summit porters/guides with us who carried our day pack which was a great help. They encouraged us , motivated us, and kept us focused . We couldn’t have summited without these amazing people. We summited on Christmas Day morning. Without reservation , we would recommend Sirikwa to anyone who wishes to hike Kili, go on Safari, or to just explore beautiful Tanzania. Oinoth and his entire crew were professional, supportive, and accommodating. They listened to and addressed our concerns before and during the trip. We felt well cared for from landing to departure . We wish Oinoth continued success. We are glad we did it with Sirikwa. Good luck for all the success in your future Oinoth Sirikwa.

Awesome, Amazing & Trip of a Lifetime... - Sirikwa Travel is The Absolute Best when booking any activities in region surrounding Mt. Kilimanjaro. I arrived a couple of days early before my trek on Mt. Kilimanjaro and was able to book a day safari in the Tangiere National Park which was spectacular. Our guides for Mt. Kilimanjaro, Innocent and Diana were amazing along with everything else that was taken care of. The porters were very nice and fun to be around as we shared our dinner meals with them. The Lemosho route we took was challenging, but very beautiful and allows you to experience every type of landscape and weather system. This trek and trip were well worth it and I highly recommend Sirikwa travel.

Amazing Adventure! - This was truly the adventure of a lifetime. Sirikwa Travel and our guides, Pail and Jyroi were incredible. All details were taken care of and our team was phenomenal. I honestly didn’t think I could go as far as I did and it was really only because of the support and encouragement of Sirikwa Travel staff. We have recommended Sirikwa to several friends and know they will be in for a tremendous experience when they hike Kilimanjaro. Thank you Sirikwa!!
