Highlights
  • Jardins d’Etretat - Welcome to the gardens of Etretat!

In 1903, the first tree of this garden, created by the famous actress Madame Thébault, was planted. The inspiration came from the impressionist painter Claude Monet, himself a passionate gardener. It is to him that we owe the original character of the garden, faithfully preserved until today. A villa was built in this splendid garden extending on the cliffs of the Alabaster Coast, on one of the wonders of Normandy

Beautiful calm oasis - First class experience, such a calm oasis on the coast. We visited the garden and then had lunch in the town. Good value tour

Amazing gardens and viewpoints - Absolutely beautiful garden! Everything was in bloom and the gardens themselves were very clean and organized. The viewpoints from the top of the gardens will leave you speechless. Easy walk into the town of Etretat for food and exploring when you leave the gardens.

Gorgeous - Magnificent garden, superb view, congratulations to the gardeners. Adult ticket price 12.5 euros. You need a lot of steps to get there from the beach. For us, we parked on Avenue Nungesser and Coli, and went up the little warbler path, much less difficult, just a small path between the beautiful houses, early in the season so not maintained, we searched between the grass and branches. The visit is worth it. Now the garden is not huge but there is a very large table in the middle if you want to have a picnic.

Beautiful gardens but too expensive. - The gardens are beautiful, very well maintained but I think the prices are too high. 12 € 50 per person, I think there is abuse. The problem is that tourists are not cash cows. At certain times, they will end up choosing either to visit or to eat.

Disappointed - Seen from the sky it's magnificent, but on site!! apart from recognizing the great work of the gardeners it's nothing exceptional. The entrance ticket 12€50 is really expensive for what there is to see and the same for the drinks.

Disappointing ! - A very expensive entry price, exaggerated compared to the size of the garden. The gardens are certainly beautiful, well maintained but the tour is quickly done (1/2 hour)

Disappointing - Very expensive (50 euros for a family of 5) for the duration of the visit which leaves us no time to really escape. Some bushes were in the regrowth phase and their shape was “blurred”. Further down the gardens, the road is visible because the hedges are bare...

Bad experience - Certainly very beautiful But if you are disabled go your way, your presence is not desired Temporarily disabled, I came up against signs prohibiting me from approaching by car to be dropped off A big thank you to the city of Étretat which I left immediately (restaurant canceled and same hotel) Rest assured in Le Havre, there are plenty of welcoming and caring places
