An adventure at Targoviste! - Even though we made the reservation late at night, the organizer got us a guide and we managed to do the tour to Targoviste. Alexander, the guide who accepted to deliver the tour, was very kind all the time, he explained to us about his culture and about the surrounding towns. He welcomed us with snacks and helped us with translations in places where people did not speak more than Romanian. Without a doubt an excellent adventure.

Your chance to see Romania the right way! - This was a genealogy tour for me and Sebastian was a wealth of knowledge in helping me to discover every branch. He even surprised me with a trip to the convent my bloodline’s husband had ordered to be built in Targoviste in the early early 1600s. Wow! Sebastian took us all over Romania from Bran Castle to Poenari Castle, from Snagov Monastery to Bucharest. It was truly a Dreamlike journey. Always very polite and courteous, and an encyclopedia of Romania for a brain. Highly recommend!

Take a look at how vlad actually lived.. - Sebastian showed us the REAL dracula castle, as well as a lot of other romanian history sights. Perfect if you want to experience the country/history without the usual tourist stops. Felt really safe with our guide and he was super open to suggestions 😊 thank you for taking us to poienari as a diversion from the tour. Watching the (sadly closed right now) castle ruins up on the hill from afar made me feel like a turkish soldier, ready to desert if he had to walk 1480 steps 😂 Thank you for making my birthday so memorable 🙏

Nice Off Season Day Trip - This trip is mostly driving which was fine since it was fall so the autumn color was brilliant and off season so not too crowded. The stay at the lake was lovely. But I would not book in high season. It was crowded enough in Oct

Transfagarasan Highway Tour - This tour was fabulous! The scenery was spectacular and well worth the drive. Alin is a really good tour guide. He was funny, informative, and very accommodating. All in all, it was a great way to end our time in Bucharest. Thank you and thank Alin again for us!

Amazing trip! - We’ve had a great day! The weather conditions were perfect: it snowed a couple of days before and today was very sunny. All in all some beautiful sights and very nice pictures. Our guide Stefan was very friendly and very knowledgeable about literally everything. He promised us a bear and, even though we nearly didn’t, we saw one on the way back. It was a great trip, Stefan made it great. Thank you so much!

Best way to see transfargaßan Highway l - Amazing guide and beautiful scenery! And the lake in the top of the mountain was magical. It's a little far from Bucharest but totally worth it.

Vlad was not at any of these locations - The tour name is misleading. The sites visited have nothing to do with Vlad Tepes/ The Impaler/ Dracula. At the “court” site the labels clearly state that Vlad may have had a similar site near the proximate river. That’s far from a Vlad tour. I appreciate the enthusiasm for the tour company to share historical Romanian sites but a more truthful depiction of what the day holds should be communicated so people can make more informed decisions. The internet links also tie to reviews of the Transfăgărășan Carpathian road and this tour does not include that experience. On a positive note I will say that communication with the tour organizer and driver was good and began the night before. Our driver/tour guide was nice but he had a habit of demanding forced Romanian language lessons. Maybe previous tour participants didn’t mind it but the individuals in our small group minded. We are all very seasoned travelers and are not accustomed to paying for a private tour and being told repeatedly to “say it!” when the driver is explaining a bit of Romanian history that includes local vocabulary. He should tone that way down or learn to read the room for people who don’t like to be commanded. The last point has to do with the experience after our car got into an accident. A deer jumped in front of the car and we hit it. We were on the way back to Bucharest when this happened. I don’t blame the driver since it was a legitimate “accident” but things should have been handled better afterwards. The first call should have been to the tour operator to arrange for our immediate return to Bucharest. Instead we were forced to wait hours for police to arrive twice then time at the police station for the filed report. When we were finally back on the road to Bucharest our driver made 4 handheld phone calls while driving the 70+ kilometers after having an accident. We were tired and had missed dinner because of the delayed return to our hotel so the distracted driving was less than ideal. The tour and company have a lot of room for improvement. If they can do it then I could recommend them.

Trip to nowhere - We never did ACTUALLY get on the highway pictured in the brochure, in fact, we could not even take a good picture of it as we were so far away. The picture lied to us. False advertising. Never saw a bear as we were going so fast. Squeezed into a Skoda back seat with maximum tinted windows that looked like you were in the middle of the night looking out of them. Driver talked politics about half the time, not much commentary on life/buisnsses/country side until we got to the mountains. Basically a 12 hour trip for nothing. Terrible excursion, would never recommend it, unless you could actually experience what was advertised in the picture.
