Great cruise and walk in a beautiful part of the world - From the minute we boarded to when we got off we felt cared for and entertained. Mike, our driver was very competent, careful and cognisant of the wishes of the customers, as well as full of interesting knowledge of the area.Tamsyn was likewise very helpful and entertaining in her local knowledge and patient with our many requests. We loved the walk on Maria island and the many stories of people who had lived there. Also our lunch and morning tea on the boat were delicious and plenty even for our growing teenage grandkids. They, by the way, were very excited at the amount of wildlife we encountered, especially the wombats. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting the area.

A very good tour all round - The road to the harbour for the ferry ride is pleasant and the cruise to the island was insightful and Captain Steven was a professional in manoeuvring the boat. The walk around the island was pleasant

Trip Highlight - We had a wonderful time on the Maria Island cruise. Weather was perfect and Michael and Rachel were great hosts. Michael drove the boat and gave very informative details of the island and the different points of interest. Rachel looked after everyone and couldn’t have been more patient and kind to everyone on board. There was so much to see and we took many photos. A highlight was seeing a wombat as soon as we arrived off the boat at Darlington. We would thoroughly recommend this cruise, it was a highlight of our trip to Tasmania.

Fantastic day trip - Wow, what a fantastic day out this was. We got picked up in Hobart via the courtesy transfer by Rachel who anccompanied us for the day and got taken down to the port in Triabunna. From there we had chance to get coffee etc once we had “checked in” all staff were so friendly and helpful. Once aboard the boat, the captain/owner Mike introduced himself and gave us a bit of a low down on boat safety. We then set off for a magical day, whilst the swell was a little wild in parts, Mike was very courteous and was checking all passengers were ok and not feeling poorly. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and gave some fascinating commentary. We were provided morning tea which consisted of a drink and three small bits of cake and then a bit later, we had lunch. I opted for the vege salad and it tasted amazing, although there was far too much of it!!! We then made our way to the mainland where we saw plenty of wildlife, including wombats, lizards & an Echidna. After a couple of hours we made our journey back to the harbour and then on to Hobart. Whilst the weather was a bit of a nuisance (it was very windy) this did not deter from a fantastic day out. Mike and Rachel were amazing and I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

What an amazing, fantastic day. - We had caught the ferry the previous day to Maria Island, so this was an excellent opportunity to see it from the sea. It was on a small boat with plenty of room upstairs outside and the downstairs interior to move around. Our first stop to watch the seals at Ile des Phoques. It used to be a seal hunting area, but thankfully, now a successful breeding area. It was wonderful to see all the seals basking in the cool sunshine without fear of being hunted. Then our wonderful captain, Michael showed his skills at getting the boat 🚢 👏 into caves (and safely out again 😉). Amazing. Finally, lunch (pre-selected and the company is very thoughtful about dietary requirements) was served by the lovely Rachel, and was enjoyed by everyone before cruising past the painted cliffs and to Darlington on Maria Island with plenty of time allowed to walk around on our tour. You really must book this cruise!
