Riesling and Roman archeology - Fascinating city, fascinating wines, friendly people. Let yourself be immersed in the tours in the cellars, tastings, conversations with the inhabitants and, of course, the importance of Emperor Constantine and his mother, Helena, better known as Saint Helena, of whom there are relics that she collected in the holy places.

Trier’s Hidden Gems! - A great private tour of Trier for my husband, our adult daughter, and myself. ! If you love history, this tour is for you! Dr. Nollen has a wealth of knowledge about the city and its Roman, Christian, and modernist heritage. We were privy to many hidden gems in the city we would have missed otherwise. We saw all the major sights too. Did I mention it was the coldest day of the year? He went out of the way to show us many indoor treasures so we wouldn’t freeze to death! Thank you Dr. Nollen!

Peter + trier = perfect! - Trier was beautiful! And Peter was the best guide ever! He told us so much about the city that we never would have known had we toured ourselves. Had dinner at Ratskeller - also fabulous! Great great day!

Wonderful guide and tour - This was a lovely experience and introduction to Trier for my husband and me. Peter is a very nice and knowledgeable man — and was the perfect guide around the city for us. He messaged us ahead of time (or actually his wife did, on his behalf) to confirm all the details and arrange for Peter to meet us in our hotel lobby at the start of our tour, since we were staying right in Old Town. They also recommended some local restaurants, and I’m very glad we made recommendations at their favorite spot — it was top notch. The tour itself was lovely — very informative and clearly catered to the two of us. We are quick walkers and were clearly interested in all Peter had to share, so we spent some extra time together and saw some extra things. I also appreciate that Peter showed us some items a bit off-the-beaten-path (such as the otherwise inconspicuous Jewish memorials).

100% recommendation - We were able to enjoy an educational and artfully composed tour of Trier in English. Important facts about the history and art of Trier were the subject of a stimulating and entertaining 2-hour tour that made us forget the bad weather. Concentration on the outstanding events allowed us to get an overall impression. Definitely recommended!

Historical tour - Mr Nollen caters to personal requests and he takes you to museums off the main street, for example the International Centre for Gilded Manuscripts. We would never have discovered it ourselves. His historical knowledge is well-founded and extensive. A worthwhile tour
