Wonderful Day Learning to make Pasta and Tiramisu with Giovanni! - Four couples traveling together and found this fun class to do while docked in Trieste! We had no trouble finding Giovanni's home and he was ready on our arrival. He had a table full of antipasto with plenty of wine and water available. We then got busy making the tiramisu, as it needed to go in the fridge for at least an hour. Making pasta from scratch is a long process but Giovanni kept it fun and gave everyone a chance to participate. He had made some of the pasta ahead or we would have been there a very long time! We made two kinds of pasta and once everything was made, it was time to eat! Lunch was delicious and there was so much food and wine, we were very full as we walked back to our ship! Giovanni's is very warm and welcoming and we felt like we were good friends spending time together in the kitchen. While Giovanni does not speak English (and we do not speak Italian), he is a pro with Google Translate and there was never a time we did not understand each other. We highly recommend you take this pasta class when in Trieste. Tell Giovanni we said "Buongiorno"!

Cooking in Venice! Amazing! - Great afternoon cooking fish (best I’ve ever had), fresh pasta, and tiramisu! The market was fun to see but we were there over an hour (our guide had to go back to pick up a couple who were VERY late). Then it’s a 25 minute walk to the apt for the cooking (but it's nice to walk the streets of Venice). Our host was amazing! She allowed so much hands on prepping, was patient and kind, and a lot of fun. Her name was Rosanna (spelling?). She had plenty of water and wine for all of us. Because there were twelve of us (a bit tight for the room, ten would be best), the class ran just over five hours. Luckily, we didn’t have anything planned until later that evening. Great tour and we highly recommend it!

Great cooking class in Italy! - We learned to cook pasta and tiramisu. I really think when we are home we’re going to be able to cook this for our own families! Giovanni was the best teacher and invited us into his home and made us feel like family.

A must do activity! - We started our day with a cooking class in the home of a local, Giovanni. He took my son, Tyler under his wing and taught us how to make Tiramisu and fresh pasta including spaghetti and ravioli. It brought me back to my childhood when my Hungarian grandmother taught me how to cook and bake by sight alone because she didn’t speak much English. Lucky for Tyler, he had the advantage of google translate so we could converse with Giovanni. We munched on local cheeses and meats while sipping Prosecco. Enjoyed the fruits of our labor with a local white wine: ravioli with pesto, ravioli with a Gorgonzola cream sauce, spaghetti al pomodoro, and tiramisu. And we finished our meal with Limoncello! This was an amazing experience and I would book this again and again. Grazie Giovanni!

Best pasta maker - We loved the warm welcome that Giovanie gave us. Our class was so much fun and the pasta and Tirimasu was out of this world. My husband can't wait to buy a pasta maker machine.

Fun pasta making experience - Giovanna was such a good host. We loved our time with her, the way she showed us how to make the pasta, and was patient as we took the time to try it ourselves! It was an experience we will never forget. She was such a gracious host, making sure we had everything we need. The food was delicious, especially the sauces she prepared ahead of time. You will love this experience if you book it!

Cancelled last minute. Not professional - Why you sell tours if you cancel them last minute? I made my whole day planned around this experience and i was looking forward. And then you cancel me? You need to be more up to date and close your date day before if you cant take people that day. This is not professional at all. And when you cancel someone tour you should write email of apologizing.

Last Minute Cancelation - I booked this Trip over 1 Month in advance and the evening before the actual Event they cancelled! We actully went to Trieste for this specific Cooking Class! Unfortunatly the E-Mail where it stated the cancelation went straight to the Spam Ordner, so we didn't see it in time and went there just to stand in front of closed doors. I'm very disappointet with the Host, we even talked with the Host in Person, they didn't even say Sorry! Definitly won't book this ever again!
