- Ljubljana - Ljubljana, the capital and largest city in Slovenia, is the cultural, educational, economic, political and administrative centre of the country. Its old town centre is embraced by Ljubljana Castle and the river Ljubljanica where the feeling of the city is the strongest. On your trip, you will encounter ancient and modern architecture. You will visit the old town center where you will admire the works of the Slovene architect Jože Plečnik, who took an important part in designing the Ljubljana’s most famous bridges, town squares and parks. In a little more than three decades, Jože Plečnik transformed Ljubljana from a provincial city to the capital of the Slovene nation and reshaped the urban part of the city. His influence can be felt everywhere, but mostly along the river Ljubljanica. On your trip, you will visit some of the most interesting buildings and monuments, such as the Ljubljana Town Hall, the Triple Bridge, the Shoemakers’ Bridge, Ljubljana Cathedral, the Robba Fountain, Prešeren Square, Congress Square and other attractions. The symbol of the city is the Ljubljana Dragon. It is depicted on the top of the tower of Ljubljana Castle and on the Ljubljanica - crossing Dragon Bridge. It symbolizes power, courage and greatness.

Would love to visit Slovenia again. - Lake Bled was beautiful and we throughly enjoyed Lubjiana…….Norman was great.
We really loved the history that Norman told us about. Very educational and the city is amazing.

Ernest was the Best...! - The most memorable were the actual experiences (visits) at Lake Bled and Ljubljana - regardless of pouring down rain. And the patience, knowledge, and energy exemplified by Ernest - were greatly appreciated. He was a top-notch guide because he cared about his clients and truly enjoyed talking about his country and its beauty.

Lake Bled and Ljubljana trip - Our guide and driver, Ernest Prislic turned a rainy day into a very fun trip. Good sense of humor, very knowledgeable about Solvenia and recommended great places for refreshment and local restaurant for lunch. We loved the local trout he recommended. We have already passed the experience on to friends who will be in Trieste in September. After three weeks of cruise ship excursions this was the best!

Amazing place. 43 on our tour for one guide - The locations are amazing. Keep in mind there will be over 40 people on your trip. So the tour guide cannot be heard.
