Cave and castle - My wife and I really enjoyed this trip, which involved a drive from Trieste to the sites in Slovenia. Our driver was a very engaging college student on his summer job before his classes began. The tours themselves were very quick. We could have spent a lot more time at both sites before our tour drivers whisked us away. Special thanks to the tour leader who lent us both sweaters when he decided we would be too cold in the caves. The caves are chilly, and the gesture was appreciated.

Cave tour a must. - Great tour guide Earnie. Really nice, informative young man. Every tour should have a guide like him. The cave is a hike but you have the option to just ride the train. The caves are fantastic to see. I would highly recommend this to everyone. A highlight of our trip. The castle was OK but is very famous and built into a cave. I have been to castles all over Europe so it wasn’t a huge thing for me to see.

What an awesome experience - My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the caves. The train was perfect. It gave us more of an opportunity to explore. Even after we got off and walked the pathway was very safe and never seemed too steep even though we are in our 70s and early 80s, most memorable and beautiful experiences ever

Nice tour but must bring warm jackets - The visit to the caves was most interesting However, it was really cold (just 5 degree Celsius) inside the caves and we were not told to bring jacket or warm clothes to keep warm, so we ended up buying warm jackets at the site souvenir shop which were quite costly. Renting jackets also not available as they run out of rental stock. Customers should be informed about the cold weather inside the caves and bring their own warm clothes, and not to be taken by surprise when they get there and be forced to buy jackets. Other than this, the tour was nice and memorable.
