Great quick intro to Trieste - Only had a few hours in Trieste so needed to use my time well. This tour was ideal for my needs, short and to the point.

Top as initial info or with little time with closed bus - The tickets were easy to book online the day before. The departure point was at a public bus stop on the sea side right at the square d'unita. The bus was (contrary to other reports) super punctual and there was always enough space on board. It is a closed bus with climate (a blessing in summer) and the staff was extremely friendly. There are fixed times when the individual stations are approached. These are quite far apart, as there are obviously not many (probably 2) buses. The ticket is valid for 24 hours. We did e.g. on the first day only at 3.45 pm a whole lap (knew afterwards exactly what we were interested in) and went the next day with it e.g. to Miramare and with a later tour back again. It was very good! The staff also always asked if and at what time we went back by bus so we had fixed 2 seats on the bus. There is also an audio guide in D, E, IT, F (if other languages are also available I am not sure), which gave interesting information about corresponding places etc. The tour offers in about 1 hour 20 minutes a good and also favorable overview of the sights in Trieste. We found this to be a successful short overview for the 1. Day to see what interests you more or for a quick lap through Trieste if there is not much time. Highly recommended!

Guides were great - The guide on you bus was knowledgeably, pleasant and tried helping with the abrupt cancellation that Viator did on my Lake Bled excursion. She really tried to explore options but unfortunately since this was cancelled so close to my tour date, everything else was booked and Viator ruined my weekend now.

Trieste bus tour. - A trip well worth doing. Trieste was very warm and it as an interesting trip, well worth getting off at the Castle which is approx a 20 minute walk away. This gives you plenty of time to explore the gardens and castle at Miramare, with a very pleasant walk along the seafront to the castle. What a great view from the castle, of Trieste!

Hop on hop off, good vale too. - Convenient to get to castle, nice overview of city. Nice to have 24 hr window. Nice bus, friendly staff.

Great Tour - This tour was very informative and Google value for money. The audio commentary worked well. I did a similar tour in Genoq which was a disaster!

Bus Tour of Trieste - The day we did the tour there was a big parade in Trieste so the tour route was modified, the tour company informed us and let us know the new meeting point. The tour itself showed us Trieste and the outskirts. We enjoyed the tour and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Lost at Miramar - This tour did not stop at Miramar castle but along the beach about 1/2 mi from the castle. We were let out along the beach and were told if you can’t find the pick up point “dont worry we find you”. We waited at a bus stop at the assigned pick up time. I also called the bus company and asked them to call our guide to say we weren’t sure it was the right stop. As we were waiting we saw our bus approaching and we waived to get their attention. Our driver waived back at us and kept on driving stranding us there.

Canceled tour - We were unable to get to the tour. The police told us that the tour was canceled because the roads were closed. We were unable to get in touch with the tour provider and lost money.
