Good value and no problems! - I read the reviews of this bus tour and was concerned about the many problems some users reported. We had NONE of the problems noted in our experience. The pickup place was clear (at the seafront near the main piazza). The tour came with a map which showed all of the stops and included a timetable for when the bus would be at those stops (about an hour between trips on weekends). The host onboard took our name when we got off and the expected time we would want to reboard (and had this information in her online system when they returned). There was also a number to contact if your plans changed. A very good overview of the highlights of the city. Our bus was full during the off-season, so I do not know how they handle busier times of the year. A very good value!

No more than 4 floors of charming buildings - This option allows you to get to know everything about Trieste by going down and up in the places that arouse your interest or visualizing as a screen the whole city of Trieste that is very beautiful and interesting, with the imprint of the Hungarian austro neoclassicism

Excellent tour - This hop on hop off bus was a good experience. The only challenge is you need to know to book the tickets in line or in the shop as it gets sold out quickly if the small bus is being used. Also stop 1 does not have a timetable at the stop. The tour provided is good and in multiple languages.

Nice ride around town. - Nice ride around the town but we had a difficult time finding where to get on . we waited over 1 hour for a bus once we found the closest stop

Perfect scenic ride - A good means for a first overview of the city with useful information and curiosities about the different sites. Very good driver, nice and very kind Guide. Also appreciated the punctuality in the different stops.

So so - Could have been a good way for an overview of Trieste but the bus isn’t a site seeing bus so it is difficult to see out. Built more as a typical pass her bus with overhead storage that block the view. The audio commentary was fine. A lot of passengers simply used it as transport to the castle.

Inaccurate Description of Pick-Up Point - The tour is very good, but the pick-up point is described very inaccurately. The tour literature says it starts at Piazza Unita d'Italia. It DOES NOT start there. Instead, it starts about 100 meters away and across the street at Molo Audace, a pier. We missed our tour and had to take a later lone, which caused us to miss other attractions in Trieste.

Good and Bad - Instructions to find the start point were confusing. We missed the 0900 bus because we were trying to find the stop per the address given. We did get on the 1000 bus but it was so crowded, and they only ran one per hour so it was not a hop on hop off experience. It did give us a good overview of the area and the guide was excellent!

Poor directions - The meeting point was written in Italian and there were no street signs so we missed the connection. We were at the area where all the busses pick up but the bus was not there so we missed out. Poor directions, poor maps.
