We loved our tour with Trinidad Bay Kayak Tours. We felt very well cared for during our entire experience from start to finish. Scott and Jameson helped us feel comfortable on the water including our three kids ages 12, 10 and 7. We enjoyed learning about Trinidad Bay and seeing some wildlife. The whales didn't cooperate with us which was disappointing but regardless, we still had a great experience. If you're on the fence, book the tour

Kayak Trinidad provided great gear including a wet suit, booties, life vest, boat and paddle. They made it easy to enjoy a day kayaking without the hassle of owning your own gear. I had a wonderful tour with my guide Mia, who was very knowledgeable about the area and the ocean creatures. I will definitely go again soon.

Andrew was very knowledgeable about not only kayaking but also the local community and wildlife. He made us feel comfortable with the larger swells as it was the first time kayaking in bigger water. We particularly appreciated his demonstration of how we would get back in our kayak if something should happen where we capsized.

I had a really good time after I figured out how to get the kayak to turn. The only thing I can think of as a suggestion is grip tape on the paddle handles..once my hands were wet it made it difficult to hold in the correct position, and I felt that after being on the water my seat was not positioning correct either, I sat too far back to get a proper paddle stroke and that was why I was having maneuverability issues..

I think it would be helpful to do better at sizing of wetsuits beforehand or allow the instructors to have extras on them. Assuming someone’s size based off of age is not reliable and can cause some embarrassment of your customers the day of the tour. A little more guidance on how to use a double kayak would be helpful. Other than that the instructors Mia and Aliyah are very knowledgeable and have great energy for the water. The pictures they took were great and they are very patient.
