Nestled on the leeward side of Tobago, in the tiny fishing community of Castara, lies the beautiful Castara Bay. This hidden treasure of the island offers pristine beaches shaded by luxurious palm trees and towering coconut trees, making it a perfect chill-out spot. If you’re not splashing around in the clear, blue sea, you can watch the local fishermen gear up their nets for their daily haul. Some tourists have even had the unique opportunity to assist with the nets. The enchanting scenery of Castara Bay has captivated its visitors, with some describing it as a “secluded tropical bay” and expressing their desire to return. It’s an ideal place to experience the undisturbed natural beauty of the island. And it’s not all about laying back; the bay also offers snorkeling and swimming opportunities. Do carry your sunscreen though, as the Tobagonian sun can get quite intense. A professional guide and an air-conditioned vehicle will be provided during your tour.
