South Trinidad - seeing all the pitch from Pitch Lake is unique. Going to where the floods in 2021 washed away homes and roads was incredible.

A great trip with even greater guide. - The Pitch Lake is a unique site worldwide - that alone was enough for me to make the trip worthwhile. Additionally we have visited the Temple in the Sea and the Hanuman statue. We have also had a look at the industrial installations I was interested in - the old oil refinery and new methanol plant. Ulric was one of the best guides I have ever had - informative, engaged, positive and helpful. We have talked for several hours non-stop and could find many common topics. He has also proposed and arranged a bonus trip in the evening to see the Scarlet Ibis in the Caroni Swamp. Highly recommended.

Tour of Trinidad Industrial Complex - meh - Visiting the pitch lake was very cool. The lunch was excellent and super cheap. The rest was boring. More of a tour of the industrial complexes of Trinidad, such as multiple refineries and cement factories. The temples weren't anything special to me. A long day for not much fun sites. The driver was very nice and communication with the tour company was outstanding

Pitch Lake is great! But very long unnecessary return - The experience in the pitch lake was great, swimming in the lakes and walking over the pit is a unique experience. Took us about 1h30 to arrive from Port of Spain. The problem was in the way back, almost 2 hours drive to stop in the middle of nowhere to eat something was not special at all and because of this huge turn we need another hour to arrive in the next attraction making the tour unnecessary too long.

DISAPPOINTED ☹️ - I don’t have a story about this trip, because we paid our money $236.00 US Dollars for the Tour, we followed the instructions given to meet at the Hyatt Hotel for 8:00 am. The Down South Tour of Trinidad was to start at 8:30 am. Well guess what no one came for us. We were running to every Van or persons gathered and asking “if they were going on the said above tour”. Each time, we were told no; and each time, we were totally disappointed ☹️. We asked the concierge of the Hyatt hotel to call the said company, after many calls, we spoke with Sandra who told us to call back and speak with Mr. Carvalho. He told me that the vehicle was stuck in flood waters and they have no control over the weather. I, told him that yes, you don’t have control over the weather but, you could have called us and told us something and if the vehicle, you were using got stuck in flood water, is that what you were going to use to drive, you did not care about our safety. He never apologized or cared about us. This is my boyfriend first trip to Trinidad&Tobago and I wanted him to have a good time. MY BOYFRIEND WANTS HIS MONEY BACK ON HIS CREDIT CARD. STAT😡. All who are looking for tours, please use Ms. Gunda. Island experience. We did a Tour and had a great time. We are going on another Tour tomorrow. VIATOR TOUR, Luis wants his money back.
