Stunning Turkish Landscsapes and A Great Guide Can Make the Experience More Enjoyable - The 2 day Cappadocia tour was really just part of a longer 11-day tour Tempel prepared for us. Which included Cappadocia, Amasya, Safronbolu, Pamukkale, Canakkale and Istanbul. Fantastic Cappadocia views and landscapes. Very lucky to have done our balloon tour as fickle winds and weather forced the cancellation of the balloon rides the day before and 2 days after we did ours. Since Turkey is a huge country, prepare for long 3-6 hour drives in any tour in the countryside outside Istanbul. Because you will spend long hours together, a competent, articulate, funny, friendly and solicitous guide can make the trips much more pleasant. We had Safak, a fantastic guide with a great command of English and a wealth of information on Turkish history, geography, and culture.

Terrific Türkiye - We had a fantastic 10/11 days trip to Turkiye! Our tour guide, Murat, was top-notch despite being relatively new! Very knowledgeable, maintain a professional work etiquette and at the same time, friendly and approachable to any queries we have. Aside from Murat, our bus Captain Ertan did exceptionally well! Prioritised our safety at all times, assisted with our luggages and was very considerate. He was understanding when we had to take our luggage midway (a couple of times) due to urgent matters. He was also thoughtful on placing our luggages upfront on the last day for accessibility. We are very satisfied with their service. Both Murat and Captain Ertan did fantastic!

CTC-Tempeltravel 10-days Turkey Tour: A great experience! - My family and I were on a 10-day tour of Turkey under the CTC-Tempeltravel package. We covered lots of places in Turkey including Bolu, Cappadocia, Pamukkale, Kudadasi, Bursa and Istanbul, mostly on the western side of Turkey. Our Singapore guide was May Wong and the local guide and host was Nazli Celikmakas. Nazli was a great communicator. As we were on a land tour, we did not follow the group from Singapore. Nazli touched base with us and gave precise guidance on meeting point on the first day. She followed up on timings had been prompt in replying our queries. As this was the first time we were in Turkey, being prompt and accurate in replies gave us much assurance. Throughout the tour, Nazli had demonstrated competence as a professional tour guide. She was knowledgeable, caring and committed to ensuring the group was well taken care of. Her explanation on each site we visited was detailed and fun to listen to. She also shared a lot about her own experiences as a traveller which made us feel she empathised with our needs. Never did we feel we lacked anything throughout the 10 days. Every destination was unique and culturally rich. At Bolu, Hagia Sophia was majestic on its own. Nazli’s description on the history of the place made it even more picturesque.while we missed the hot air balloon flight at Cappadocia, we had a second chance at Pamukkale. This is a must try for anyone wishing to take in the sights of Cotton Castle at its best. Our balloon pilot Fatih made a “scary” adventure fun and even though I was afraid of heights, he was so assuring it never bothered me. The other historical sites eg Silk Route stops, Koza Silk Market, Cumalikizik Village (a UNESCO heritage site) etc were all notable stops. The cruise at Istanbul was a rare treat too. It offered a very good view of Istanbul where one could see the Europe side and the Asia side of Turkey all at the same time. So much to see and enjoy the architectural beauty of the city in that one hour ride. Nazli was very accommodating towards the time we spent at each stop especially where we needed time on purchases eg Carpets, porcelain, leather shops which Turkey was famous for. She was patient and very balanced in her handling of such situations. Also, our driver was fantastic. His driving skills made all the difference between smooth and jerky rides. He was punctual at all stops. Our bus rides over long distances in many instances were very pleasant. All in all, while itinerary was important, Nazli our guide and host made the difference between just covering itinerary and a great experience. Thanks to Nazli, our trip over the 8 days was nothing short of “wonderful”. We were fortunate to get a great guide. She’s among the few whom we would consider true professionals in her trade. Thanks Nazli and team!

Cappadocia Trip - Firat was our excellent local tour guide. We had a wonderful time at Cappadocia. Lots of first experiences Ike living in Cave Hotel, riding in a ‘fast and furious’ jeep, walking through narrow alleys in an underground cave, etc. Firat ensured that we were always thoroughly briefed and mentally prepared. He was friendly, kind, and professional in the execution of his responsibilities. He also went above and beyond his call of duty by for eg, checking in with those who were unwell, making sure they were getting better. Great tour. Better guide. Thank you, Firat!

Stay away. - Cancelled my booking twice!! I even tried to be flexible and changed the dates and it was cancelled again. No reason given, very unprofessional. I tried to contact them after the first cancellation and rebooking but they didn't answer. Such a long trip to be cancelled in short notice. Not serious stay away.
