Great experience and professional guide. Worthy! - I joined two nights. Guide by bogdan/Joaquin/ Anna. They are professional and nice people. Willing to share a lot what they know. And i eventually see the aurora. The light is stunning. This trip started at 1730 which way earlier than other trip. You got more time to trace the light! That’s important! Overall it’s a worthy trip. I do suggest everyone one join. But for solo traveler, Better bring your own camera and tripod. They only provide a few photos for everyone. And if you didn’t catch the right timing you can’t catch the best moment for yourself. ( I mean if you waiting for the guide take photos for you, the best timing may pass) Latest iphone is okay for capture aurora:)

Excellent northern lights tour - run very very well. - I did about 5 tours while in Tromso - two of which were to try and glimpse the Northern Lights. The tour by Northern Soul and Tom the tourguide was far (by a long shot) superior to the other one. Firstly, they went out of their way, driving into Finland, to attempt to find clear skies. In spite of the cloudiness, the tour guides made every effort to maximise everyone's enjoyment with landscape and portrait photography in a fairly stunning setting. Excellent photography, at that. Secondly, the amenities provided - hot beverages, snacks, hot meal, fire, camping seats, all made the experience far far more enjoyable. Thirdly, the tour guides (Tom and I think Gerrard?), were excellent - personable, knowledgeable and exceptionally organised. While we didn't see the lights, I wouldn't hesitate to book them again.

Excleenr - We did not get to see the northern lights, but not from a lack of trying. We drove to Finland in a very comfortable mini bus, had a bonfire and soup/hot chocolate. Tom, our guide and amazing photographer, was superb.

Great services and photos! - Overall, we had a good experience with Northern Soul Adventure, despite the challenging conditions as it was cloudy all week. The tour was led by Anna (our driver) and Tom (our guide). They did their best to find a clear sky. After nearly a 4-hour drive, we finally found a spot to park. Although there wasn't much Northern light activity, we managed to capture some greenish-glow photos. We received excellent service from Tom and his photography skills were superb! Overall, the tour was professionally organized. We had another tour in Finland, which was more basic (no campfire, fewer amenities offered). However, the bus seats here were relatively narrower. They made you feel more uncomfortable when you had a long ride.

Fantastic Tour and great guide - We did a Northern lights photography tour with Justyna and it was fantastic. She was so nice and so attentive and helpful. It was a small group which meant we could travel to harder to reach areas to see the lights compared to larger tour buses. Bonus we even got to see the lights in the end. Lots of fun had and I would completely recommend this tour, company and Justyna to anyone looking to book a Northern lights trip.

Northern Lights quest - This was such a great experience regardless of how faint the Aurora was. The tour guide Yustyna took care of us big time! We went to a remote area, built a small camp, and kept a lookout for the northern lights. She came well prepared with appropriate gear and food/snacks for us and took very great photos of the group. We jumped around a little bit to get different vantage points of aurora too, we almost went to Finland because of the weather. I will say, nature will go its course and the northern lights might not come out in some cases. Be prepared for that and do not blame this tour agency nor any tour agency regardless. This outfit will definitely do their due diligence to make sure you see it. Also, come well dressed! It is extremely cold at night.

Northern lights tour - This was by far one of the best organised, fun and educational tours I have ever attended. Tom and his colleague went out of their way to not only find the lights but to make sure we were comfortable, safe and warm the whole time. Tom took the most beautiful photos of my family and I that absolutely made our trip. Whilst this is a slightly more expensive option than the big bus tours, the experience is far more tailored and personal. It’s incredible value for money and you will not be disappointed Thanks guys!!!

An awesome trip - Anna who drove brilliantly in heavy snow and Tom the guide and pro photographer were awesome. The lights were spectacular and the area on the Finnish border was perfect. A long drive in each direction but well worth it. Thanks to the driver and guide we would recommend this trip 100%.

Great experience - Very good guide, which is important when trying to see the elusive lights. Joaquin got us to a great spot to experience an incredible display. Having the campfire was a real treat. The only thing that keeps this from being 5 star is the terrible bus. Really uncomfortable.

Give cabin 11174 a miss on Ambience - Returned from a 14 night in search of the Northern Lights cruise with Ambassador cruise lines on their ship Ambience. This was our first cruise ever and we booked a cabin with a balcony as it was a special occasion for my birthday. Although I couldn't fault the service, food and most of the entertainment, I was a bit upset about the state of the cabin. We discovered that hidden behind the TV and the long curtains, a very bad rusty spot. (See photos). We did report this via reception who said they would contact housekeeping, and also via guest relations who have still not responded. Considering we paid extra for a balcony cabin, I was not expecting that! Steer clear of cabin 11174!
