The patience in the aurora chase - The tour was fantastic. Patience was key to witnessing the Aurora, and ultimately, we succeeded, despite the rain that greeted us at the start. It was an incredible experience that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Trust This Company - I fractured my ankle and foot in two places shortly before my Northern Shots Tour in Tromsø. They graciously gave me a refund immediately for me and my husband, who had to take care of me. My sister continued on our scheduled tour and saw the Northern lights in Finland! She said she had a great trip with a wonderful guide. You can trust this company!!

Comfortable trip, got lucky with lights - We had a great tour with Northern Shots in Tromso for northern lights. It was the first or second tour of the season and it was really early in the season for lights but we got lucky with some pretty decent shows. Peter, our guide, was great! He took us to a remote area with no artificial lights which really helped. And we it was awesome when the first lights appeared almost as soon as we reached our spot. We traveled in a comfy, warm bus and also had a bonfire later in the night when it got cold, followed by hot chocolate and cookies. It was a lovely last night in Tromso and the outing was really well planned.

Lucky to see the Northern Lights! - Had a great time and we were very lucky in that we had a clear night to see the northern lights. As the spot was pretty clear, we remained in that one position for the whole time. It got down to about -7 but strong winds so wrap up warm and be prepared to stand outside for hours (you can go back on the bus if you want). You’ll get a nice tea or hot chocolate at about 9pm which will warm you up. One other thing to note is that we were a big coach of people and 2 other coaches (plus some cars) came to the same spot, so it might feel busy at times, but you can move to a quiet spot if you like!

Above and Beyond! - Marius and Maty were our guides. We wouldn't have been able to see the Northern Lights -- or fully appreciate them -- without their expertise!

Great experience! - Fantastic experience. Experienced guides and comfortable buses. We caught a stunning show of the Aurora in all its glory. It’s a little disappointing that they don’t offer free photography like some other tour agencies

A great experience, would recommend - It was a great experience and we did get to see the Northern Lights, along with getting a professional photograph taken which I have now purchased as I liked it so much! We also learnt lots of facts about the Northern Lights from our tour guide on the bus journey. The only downside is that I wish these tours would be more honest about what the Northern Lights look like in real life/the naked eye BEFORE the tour! It's definitely not what it looks like in the pictures.

A Perfect experience if you are lucky - Pros: Check-in and guidance to the bus was well organized. Tour guides were perfect. The whole experience is priceless if you are lucky to see the northern lights. Cons: I suggest you to rest well before this chase. The cold weather drained our energy so fast and we fell asleep after our first round of photos.

Good experience - The staff at the reception were very kind and very helpful! The driver was very funny and the guide was quite professional, he gave us much information aboit the aurora and shown us how to take amazing photos whether with phones or cameras! Hot choccolate/cafe and snacks were served generously around a fire! We did see the northern lights but not as intensive as we wished and they didn’t dance apparently the sun activity was not that stormy. However I was expecting that the guide take photos of us (as mentioned in their name) either in group or individually but he refuses saying that the aurora is desappearing quickly and it is not fair if he takes photos for some and leave others without! Anyway he was busy taking photos with his own camera as if he is not used to see them on a daily basis! So count on yourself to take photos ;)

Do not recommend - This was a terrible experience. This company took 3 bus loads of people (approx 160+ people) with 3 photographers to assist. They took us out to a nice location and we did see the northern lights, but there were way to many people and it was chaos. People were shining flash lights everywhere and screwing up pictures of people who knew what they were doing. When I booked the trip, I was led to believe it was a small group setting. I would definitely not recommend this!
