Perfect Tour - Wonderful tour. Our guide Kat was very friendly, attentive and knew a lot about the aurora. They took several beautiful photos, included in the tour! I highly recommend the company, guide (Kat) and the tour!

Bad weather? Not with Kat! - Despite hopelessly bad weather in Tromsø, we managed to find a clear sky that showed us the wonderful aurora borealis. We have settled about 100 km from Tromsø in pure darkness. There was hot chocolate, a warm soup and marshmallows over the fire. We received a very good briefing on the aurora hunt. Our guide Kat spoke very good English and was very sympathetic. She was sure that she would do anything to show us the Northern Lights.
On the way back to Tromsø we stopped again because a new spot was found and this gave us even better Northern Lights than before. Definitely worth this ride and childhood dreams came true. Not to forget the professional photos of us under the Northern Lights. These will be provided after the event with included. Everyone could have as many pictures taken as they wanted. There was no limit.

Wonderful! - Great trip! We had to go all the way to Finland, but thanks to a wonderful guide - Jurre Jan - we finally found beautiful, clear sky! Not only did we see a beautiful aurora (despite the shining moon!), but also two shooting stars and a moonbow! Thank you for a wonderful night and I recommend it to everyone with all my heart!

Antonio made our dream come true! - Our excursion with the Green Adventure was our last attempt at seeing the lights on our final night. We had a terrible experience with a big bus company the night before with rude, uncaring guides who stayed in one spot all night just across the Finnish border and only cared about getting portraits they could charge £27 each for. The lights were only faintly visible through cameras and not to the naked eye. I cried all the way back from Finland from disappointment. I thought the dream was over for us but after a quick email asking about cancellations, we were able to get two spaces for this trip. I'm 24 years old and my mum is 39. She had me a month before turning 15 and she is a fantastic mother. She raised me all by herself and she did a brilliant job. I have always wanted to do something spectacular to show my mum how much she means to me and how grateful I am for her. She has long dreamed of seeing the Northern Lights and a couple of years ago, she told me that she wanted to see them before she turned 40- this April. I started planning and saving and settled on Tromso as the best place to achieve this dream. We were there for a week and after nights spent at Prestvannet lake, a canceled tour due to bad weather, and a failed tour, I was so dejected. Tromso is so beautiful and every day was fantastic but the lights eluded us. I had lost hope.
We knew we'd get no sleep and have a long journey back to Bristol after the excursion as we had to be at the airport at 5am but we set off in high hopes. We were immediately impressed by Antonio and the lovely driver. They were friendly, informative, and positive- so unlike the big bus tour. The driver played lovely, inspiring music and the atmosphere of being with a small group of around 14 people was so special. We stopped at a place where the clouds were clearing and had a bonfire. We did not see the lights here but it was so cosy and comforting. Chicken soup in a bag ( surprisingly delicious), lovely hot chocolate, and roasting marshmallows- a first for most of us on the trip. Antonio explained every step of the plan and when it became clear that the clouds would not move enough from our location, we packed up. Antonio covered the melted ice where our bonfire was set up with snow and packed it down. I was really impressed by this- it showed a genuine care for nature and our surroundings, leaving no mess or impact on the beauty of the Norwegian countryside.
We set off and shortly after, people starting shouting- they spotted the lights. We stopped on a country road and were greeted by the lights. They were quite faint but moved rapidly and though covered by light cloud, they were there- green and gorgeous. I sobbed and I was not alone. The feeling of being in a small group, experiencing this together for the first time- it's indescribable. The excitement, the magic- it was perfect. Antonio took lovely portraits of everyone. We stayed for a while, admiring the beautiful but faint lights. But Antonio was determined to get us a clearer view so we started driving again and maybe two minutes later, screams of excitement filled the van. The driver quickly stopped and we were greeted with a picture perfect sight- the lights in all their glory. Vivid and magnificent. Everyone was so excited- the atmosphere, the beauty, and the majesty of the lights moved me to tears again. It was the most special experience of my life. My mum's dream was fulfilled just 4.5 hours before we had to be at the airport. I couldn't believe it- it was overwhelming in the best possible way. Antonio was excited by the show, audibly expressing his amazement, which added to the atmosphere as he had previously informed us that this year had been poor for the lights due to the clouds. We knew then that we had seen something special.
Antonio continued to check for more displays on our drive back to Tromso and while we did not spot anything as vivid as the final display, I was so impressed by his dedication and determination to find them for us, even after we'd already been greeted by such a special display.
I think seeing the Northern Lights is on everyone's bucket list but this was deeper for me. This was about giving my lovely, selfless, hardworking mother an experience she would always treasure after she sacrificed so much for me. Antonio and our driver made this happen. The Green Adventure made this happen. This was a proper chase- not a big bus tour where you're herded like cattle and freeze in a single spot. This was everything we dreamed it would be. It was worth every penny. It was priceless. Just recalling it is making me cry again. Thank you so much to Antonio, the driver, and The Green Adventure for giving us this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Thank you for creating such an intimate, comforting, and simultaneously thrilling atmosphere. It was like nothing else. Go with The Green Adventure if you can- they are the facilitators of lifelong dreams.

Great Tour & Guide - We hat to drive about 100 km and had to wait for a long time until finally, close to midnight, a shy Aurora appeared in the sky. It grew bigger within the next minutes, but honestly: with our own eyes she did not look green, but at least on Kat's pics she does. :-)
Kat was a very good, friendly and knowledgeable guide, we recommend this tour wirh her because she was doing everything for making it a success and for us as comfortable as possible.

great experience with bonus reindeer - very cool - we had a great tour with guide Kat - driving all the way to Finnish Lapland, but finally we were in the right spot on right time to see the lights; just my camera / mobile couldn`t do the fotos as great as professional equipment. AT our spot we got even a bonus with free reindeer visits

The best aurora tour ever!! - The guide was so enthusiastic. It was really cloudy that day but she went really far to get to the place where there is clear sky. I guess we were the only team that saw northern lights that day!!
