Excellent team! - Had a great time with the team here. Despite being a very cloudy day, and us having very low hopes to see the Northern lights, the team made sure to chase the gaps in the clouds to give us a fair chance of seeing the lights. The team also gave a fair chance to leave the tour at the very beginning and get a full refund due to the cloudy weather but soo glad to have stayed and seen an amazing light show! Definitely would recommend!!

Great! Must-see visit! - Great!!! Must-see visit! Adorable guides, answer all our questions, set our phone settings for photos, and take our picture.
Comfortable boat with toilet, hot drinks and unlimited biscuits. We were able to observe beautiful aurora borealis!!!

Northern Lights at their best - We (family of 5 with a disabled daughter of 11 years old) came to Tromso as a bucket list trip of a lifetime. Seeing the Northern Lights was on our itinerary and we booked this night boat trip in advance. The family was so apprehensive about this trip - would we see them? - would the kids manage till midnight? - would we feel sick? Well all our fears were abandoned 5 mins into the 3.5 hour tour. We were so lucky, the sky was clear and the lights were dancing all above us. The children loved it!!! So so magical. Our guides Kristina and the young man (I do apologise I didn't get his name) were so amazing. They spent hours helping us get photos. They couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. A trip of a lifetime I'll never forget and hope my children realise how special in years to come.

Excellent company - The ride itself is already great, with the aurora boreal even more. But actually what drives me to make a positive review is the seriousness of the company. If the chances of seeing the aurora are low due to bad weather they cancell the tour, and still give travelers very comfortable options, such as rebooting, chargeback or exchange for another activity. Guides are also very well prepared, always attentive, and speak several languages, which facilitates communication with tourists.

A Burst of Green Lights in the Sky! - First of all, I picked Polar Adventures because of the great reviews. and they didn't disappoint.
We didn't get to see the lights on the first tour even with clear skies. But we tried again, and on the 2nd tour 2 nights after the first, Voila! the skies gave us a show of the Aurora Borealis. With the naked eye, the lights were seen as only wisps of faint grays and white. However, we were so lucky to have great and knowledgeable guides - Holly, Cristina and Alvaro - who kept monitoring the skies and identifying those wisps as the real thing. Moreover, our guides were so sincerely excited for us and took portraits of each one of us with the lights on the background. it was such a phenomenal adventure that was beyond compare.

Northern Lights boat trip - V cramped boat. They encouraged people to move around the vessel but the railings were v low, felt someone could go overboard quite easily in the dark and icy deck.
Nice crew and plenty of hot drinks and biscuits available.

Didn’t attend. - I didn’t get on the boat. When I arrived they were shuffling what seemed a hundred people onto two boats. When I looked at the boats, the seating was at water level, cramped and there wasn’t much room to move around on top. The boat looked a bit worse for wear.

Cancelled 24h before - The tour company cancelled our trip 24h before without giving a reason of the cancellation, forcing us to book another tour last minute. We had much less choice than when we booked this tour and they were ofcourse also much more expensive. We were really disappointed because we really looked forward to this tour and they didn’t even give us a single reason why they cancelled.
