- Straumsvegen 601 - We invite you to our Aurora Camp, where our professional guides will host you for the evening. Above our center, located 30 minutes away from Tromsø and the city lights, the night sky is dark and well suited for northern lights watching. While you wait for the lights to appear, your guide will give you some insight into the natural phenomenon Aurora Borealis. You can also cuddle with our 300 huskies and their puppies and learn about the dog sled racing, breeding and animal welfare on a guided tour of our kennel. Our thermal suits and boots will keep you warm in the arctic winter night!
In our cozy Gamme-hut dinner will be served around an open fire. Try Bacalao, a traditional Norwegian fish dish with Portuguese roots made from regional produce (vegetarian option is available upon preliminary request) and a piece of our signature chocolate cake. While you eat, your guide will keep a close eye on the sky and inform you about any Aurora activity!
After dinner there is time to watch the northern lights, take pictures and say goodbye to the dogs, before we head back to Tromsø.
This tour does not include dog sledding.

Amazing Experience - My wife pet 100 dogs, we saw the Northern Lights, and the food was good, we couldn’t have asked for much more. If you or your spouse loves dogs, this is a must.

Dog lovers delight - Excellent trip, very friendly people, lots of information about the dogs and got to cuddle the dogs and some puppies, really enjoyed the food in the tent plus we saw the northern lights, a must for dog lovers.

A MUST for any dog lover! - Absolutely wonderful experience for any dog lover! So many dogs, it's almost impossible to visit them all! All of the staff were clearly devoted to these animals and provided great information about them. When we found out they allow people to spend the night there, we were SO bummed we didn't realize that was an option when we booked! And the food was wonderful! Could not recommend more highly!

Cute dogs and good food! - We played with all the dogs and got to hear awesome stories and facts about them. The food and drinks were so good after, the facilities were amazing! We didn’t get to see the northern lights because it was cloudy but overall, a great experience!

Trip 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Viator no star - First of all... check pick up point... Viator has it wrong....it is NOT Sjøgata 7, 9259 Tromsø, Norway this is at the back of the hotel and we nearly missed our pick up...not good Viator...change it....no stars .....it is outside the front main entrance of the Radisson Blue hotel!!!
The trip itself was 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
Had lots of time to meet the dogs and puppies.....had lovely food....and learnt about sledding

Great experience and great staff - Great experience visiting the huskies close to Tromso. The staff was great and explained us a lot of things about the dogs. There are uniforms provided which I recommend you wear since it might be muddy.
We also had the chance to pet the dogs which were really calm and loved to be petted!
Moreover we had the chance to see the northern lights since there is no light pollution , while the stuff came and called us while we were changing to their provided uniforms in order to have a chance and see them. They also made the experience much better since they closed any lights to help us better see the lights!

Beautiful dogs, tasty food and we learnt something! - The whole experience was amazing, but be aware that the meeting point is at the Radisson, not where the map takes you!
The dogs were so well behaved and loved seeing us even though it was raining!
The food and drink was tasty and was just what we all needed.
We learnt a lot about the dogs and the northern lights and the guides were really helpful and informative.

Good food, nice dogs, friendly people, northern light, sledding - Nice to see the many dogs and be able to touch them. Dogs were a bit tired from all day running. Maybe the evening visits are too much for them. We had a very nice and good dinner. Friendly people who explained about the dogs and told ancient stories about the northern light. We were surprised with marvellous northern light, a present you cannot plan beforehand. After dinner we had fun sledding down hill. Worth while to visit this place!

Great for animal lovers! - Great experience for animal lovers! There were so many Huskies to pet and cuddle throughout the camp. The puppies were especially cute and very active, so much fun. The included dinner was delicious and had a great atmosphere inside. No northern lights the night we went, but the campfire was still a nice set up. It is very dark in some areas and walkways were very snow covered, but they do offer boots and snowsuits if needed which we did end up using.
