fantastic guide and expert tour - We booked two aurora chasing tours during our trip and this one was definitely our favorite! Linda was an incredible guide, very friendly and funny and skilled in finding the perfect spots for us (in addition to her skill of starting a campfire within a few seconds). Gregor our driver was also excellent and guided us to the perfect spot for our campfire spot for the evening. We saw the best lights of our trip during this tour, which obviously they do not have control over but nonetheless their expertise made the rest of the evening fantastic! The soup and hot juice were tasty as well. We really appreciated the small size of the tour and would highly recommend!

Excellent Northern Lights tour with Blue Puffin! - We (group of 3 adults and 3 kids) joined Monika and Marcin for a Northern Lights tour on 2nd Jan, and were so glad we chose this one! Everything was excellent -the comfort of the bus, the guiding (we were lucky to see the aurora early on in the tour - we were the first group to a site that got crowded), sitting around the fire enjoying homemade soup, the warm suits which they helped us put on, the photographs Marcin took and shared afterwards. I highly recommend this family-run company and wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy another tour with them!

Top organized, very warm guide, 1 A driver and bus, wonderful lights spot on fjord - Driver Adam and tour guide Viktor accompanied us as a group from the start of the tour to its end and searched purposefully and professionally for the best places for our aurora sighting. We have received a detailed introduction to the Aurora Borealis phenomenon and the course of the tour from Viktor and have of course also been advised of the possibility of possibly not seeing any lights despite our best efforts. However, we were very lucky on this New Year's Eve, because already after 1 hour at the 1st Stop with a short walk into the dark we were happy with delicate lights in the sky and could try our hand at first photos. Tripods were also kept ready. After another hour of driving again, briskly stumped into the dark, again the sky spectacle, much more intense. This time with photo shoot of the individual participants with light show in the background. Very professionally done. Our 3. Stop was the hotspot where other groups had landed, of course. However, each group had ample space in the darkness. Here we got the first other photos as well as the thermal suits to stay nice and warm during the extended stay. It was wonderful! The snow, campfires on the fjord, seating us fire, delicious veggie stew, tea, bells, cookies. Everything homemade and prepared and handed over by the two. Even without the light show very nice. However, the aurora borealis in green and red above us in the dark starry sky have given everything to make the experience unforgettable. We looked together in all directions in the sky, laughed, talked and, even lying in the snow, marveled at the sky. All the time! And get and take even more photos. Only at 10.45 p.m. did we make our way back, full and happy. And even from the bus window we could still observe the green play of colors. They were replaced by the various fireworks that lit up at night at the turn of the year. What a turn of the year! Thank you!

Well organised Northern lights chase - We joined 3 different Northern Lights tours in December. We saw the lights in all 3 with the last one being the most spectacular. As the operators cannot control the lights this review is about how they operate. Blue puffin was the best. We were well informed by the guide Martin during the whole trip. Got tips on how to photograph the lights for both smartphones and digital cameras and were provided decent tripods.

Family Winter Holiday - We come to Tromsø for family holidays. The guide Victor and the driver were super professional, kind and available. the experience is so immersive and the photos taken are incredible. great availability of the guide for photography and to search for special places where to see the Northern Lights. Also the break with the hot dinner was very good. We took so many photos of amazing sky and places that will remain in our memory.

Great experience in a small group! - Despite bad weather in Tromso, the guide found a spot where we could marvel at the Northern Lights after some waiting. Absolutely recommended, as professional photos were also taken, all of which were provided. Pleasantly small group (max. 18 people) in the minibus. Good explanation of the Northern Lights, their proper photography and beyond. we would do again at any time!

Amazing light chasers! - Amazing! Our main goal was to come to Tromso to see the Northern Lights, but we were disappointed when we saw the weather reports. Cloudy, snow, virtually no chance of viewing them. Linda was our tour guide with Blue Puffin, and she said she can't promise anything but she will try. And try she did. She and the driver kept in touch with weather apps and aurora apps and they drove us all the way to the border of Finland. Linda found one clear spot of sky and had us all hop out, and lo and behold, we saw the lights! We drove through a literal snowstorm to get there (the driver was safe and careful!), but she found a way for us to see them somehow. We set up camp there and were treated to a magical display for almost three hours. The entire time, Linda took pictures of our group with a real camera, with all the patience and joy in the world. We ended with a fire and good food. On the way home, at close to 1am, she saw another area with lights and had us jump out again! I thought for sure she would have been tired and thought she already gave us what we wanted, but no, she kept looking! Truly amazing - 100% would book with them again (also - if this tells you anything, we had a friend on a different tour the same evening, and they did not see the lights. Their guide didn't drive them very far out, so all they saw were clouds).

Amazing! - I can’t thank Monika enough for her kindness. She was our guide even before we arrived in Norway. She was always attentive, helping us with suggestions, tours, and appropriate clothing. We took the Northern Lights tour in a minibus. Even though we had a fairly clear night, the aurora activity was low that day, but we still managed to see them a bit. Monika and Linda did everything to make my family feel the warmth of the people of Norway. The bonfire, the homemade food, and their attention make Blue Puffin truly unique. I recommend them 100%!

Awesome! - Our family had an amazing experience in Tromsø thanks to Linda and Adam (with some help and luck from Mother Nature). The helpful and cheerful conversation, easy comfortable (and warm) transport, together with comforting soup and fireside banter made for a wonderful evening. Highly recommended.

Exceptional northern lights tour in a small group - We have been on the northern lights tour with Viktor as guide and Gregor as bus driver. The tour was very well organized, the included thermosuits kept us warm and the homemade soup, drinks and cookies were delicious! We were really lucky with the northern lights: when we arrived at the first spot, we could already observe them. They were unbelievably intense and dancing in the sky for over 2 hours! An exceptional and unforgettable experience!! Viktor took nice and professional pictures (included in the tour and provided 1-2 days after the tour), provided valuable information, and he contributed to a good and happy mood by making jokes and telling anecdotes. We definitely had a lot of fun and can highly recommend blue puffin!
