Amazing night! - Fabulous night chasing the lights with Georgi. We were given big snowsuit and boots so didn't feel the cold much and enjoyed the camping experience sitting by a fire exchanging stories and waiting for the lights. We were able to see the aurora dance for us and are so grateful for the experience. Only recommendation would be for a toilet stop off mid way, but otherwise faultless and would highly recommend.

Best Tour Yet - Great Tour!
Obviously nature has the final say on wether or not you actually get to see northern lights, but our tour certainly put us in the right place at the right time!
We were fortunate enough to enjoy a spectacular display of aurora. After which, we enjoyed some fun and food around the campfire.
Shout out to our guide Owen! Top bloke!!
Owen was very knowledgeable and super helpful in answering all our questions.
Thanks Owen for an amazing Northern Lights Chase!!

Northern Lights - Amazing Experience! - The experience was absolutely surreal—we were fortunate to witness a stunning display of the northern lights! Our tour with Arctic Explorers was exceptional. They go above and beyond to take you to the best spots with the highest chances of seeing the auroras. Additionally, they capture incredible photos, which are available for download within 24-48 hours after the tour. The experience was made even better with hot chocolate, a hearty expedition meal by the campfire, and the provision of thermal suits and baffin boots, keeping us warm throughout. Our guide, Jessica, was outstanding—efficient, kind, enthusiastic, and highly knowledgeable about the northern lights phenomenon. I highly recommend the northern lights tour with Arctic Explorers!

Must Book Experience in Tromso to see the Northern Lights - My family and I did the Northern Lights Chase a couple nights ago and even though there was a grim outlook on weather our guide and driver were able to get us north to view the northern lights. We had the best experience because to Jeremias and Philippe. Driving was superb regardless of weather! Both were fun, personable and knowledgeable. Cannot thank them enough for making it such a memorable experience. And the photos were beyond expectations, truly incredible!

Friendly staff and amazing aurora - Awesome and very very friendly staff. Jeremias; the guide was funny and welcoming, Felipe the driver was very nice too, they made us feel like home. The weather was not helping us but after driving for a while we ended up seeing auroras which was an awesome experience. We were very lucky cause the coulds were everywhere. The suits they give you were awesome too, we did a campfire in the middle of nowhere at -10 C and we were not even a litte bit cold. We really enjoyed our time, too bad our second night of aurora got cancelled due to very inclement weather but let's hope to be lucky for a second time on our third night. Thank you guys!! Would recommend 100%

A magical night under the Northern Lights! - Our experience with Jessica and Alex was nothing short of incredible! They went above and beyond to make sure we saw the Northern Lights, tirelessly moving between different locations to give us the best possible chance. And when we finally witnessed the lights dancing across the sky, it was magical!
Jessica’s photography skills are great — she captured good shots of the lights and our group that we’ll cherish forever. Meanwhile, Alex set up a cozy campfire, adding warmth to the night, and even serenaded us with a beautiful song that made the whole experience feel like a scene from a dream.
Their passion, dedication, and attention to detail made this a night to remember. If you’re looking for an unforgettable adventure under the Northern Lights, look no further. We highly recommend!

Great experience to see the Northen Lights and have fun together - We had a great time during this tour. Special thanks to our driver Alex and our tour guide Jessica who were great. Super friendly and enthusiastic about their job, they made us all feel comfortable and were always looking out for our safety. Before we started our trip, we headed to a warehouse to change into thermal suits and proper boots so that we were ready for the cold. Jessica also shared with us our route possibilities for the night before we left. We stopped at least 3 times until our final destination so that Jessica could check these spots for us. In one of these stops, there was some aurora activity but very mild through our naked eye. We stayed here for maybe an hour. Although we didn't go with high expectations regarding what our naked eye could really see (the photos always capture more light and color than our eyes), we were a bit underwhelmed and sceptical about how the night was going to end. But, as Jessica said, we still had a very long night ahead of us and she stayed true to her word. We then headed to our final destination were we spent the rest of the night and it was worth all those hours. In the beggining, the activity was still very mild but as time passed, it got stronger and we saw beautiful Northen Lights, we saw them moving and shaping around and it was awesome. We took lots of photos and Jessica always interacted with eveyone in the group, so it was a nice familiar environment. We also had dinner at a fireplace and roasted marshmellows! Alex even played the flute for us. Our tour finished at 3am and we only arrived Tromso at 5am, but we enjoyed every moment. We felt there was a lot of effort put into the tour, not only to chase the auroras, but to make us all have a great time together. And we did! We recommend it to anyone who wants to have the same experience :)

IT'S NOT WORTH THE COST - Northern Lights:
No one was happy.
This tour does not worth to buy for couple of reasons. Overall, for the price you're paying, you're literally getting a bad experience. The things that were marketed and advertised in the description were quite desperate and cheap.
It's written that there will be a nice warm (!) dinner and camp fire, the dinner was a processed powder food that is ready to eat with pouring hot water. It is risky, cheap, and they would have at least prepared sandwiches for instance. Just because it was written "warm", which comes from hot water( :D haha), I guess they felt the urge of putting a processed powder on the menu. Perhaps protein shakes might have been better? :D
They have served us coffee, tea, hot chocolate etc which was all powder and cheap again. There is nothing against the logic of serving ready to eat stuff as the options are limited while on travelling, however, this kind of things should NOT BE advertised as an extra or plus within the tour description, because those are not actually worth it. That really made us felt scammed.
Camp fire was the cheapest thing that was lightened up for 5-10 mins and then we had to move to chase the light. It did not make any difference for anyone that camp fire was lightened up or not.
It mentions in the description that to be more comfortable, the minibus option is better since it involves small group of people. It was less comfortable, more ridey than being on a huge bus. In minibus, you're actually closer to other people, lower to the ground so it's more shaky, and has less space because you're wearing the heat protecting clothes and based on your luck; sitting next to each other as a paste at the very back of the bus.
The tour guide we had had the aim of chasing the lights, which is great and correct, however his suggestions and mindset did not match with the aim of this kind of tour and whole group. His suggestions for travelling through Tromso to other locations were based on travelling in super affordable ways, while the audience that he was telling this to were actually group of people who paid quite high money to chase the northern lights with the most expensive option. He did not actually meet or empathise with the needs of the crowd in general. He even suggested us to walk to car cable from hotel as a 30min walk activity because paying 7-8€s to taxi is expensive and unnecessary per his mindset, while we had already paid almost 150-200€ p.person for that tour. So that was really odd in general.
If you want to chase the northern lights, my recommendation would be not taking this kind of tour and that was the mutual idea of the whole group that we've taken the tour with. You can either rent a car by yourself or with couple of people, use the mobile app Aurora Forecast and just check it over there OR simply stay in an iglo or airbnb a bir of outside of the city.
Uber is there for transportation and I can assure you that whole cost of doing this alternative will COST YOU LESS than taking this tour. We all truly felt scammed. This was the highest price / service experience that we've taken so far and we did bought other experiences in Tromso, too.
