Magical moment with Harry and Dominik - Magic Northern Lights hunt with Harry and Dominik the driver. A Northern Lights festival and a very pleasant time around a fire toasting sausages while listening to Harry explain the phenomenon of the Northern Lights. A real professional.
The icing on the cake... beautiful photos taken by Harry.
Really a magical moment!
Harry and Dominik very friendly considerate and professional.
I absolutely recommend 👍

Amazing Tour! - It was a stunning trip. Exciting and full of all the cold and heat in the world. The kindness of our guide Harry and his endless knowledge warmed us up from the cold that was around. We saw a little of the aurora, but mostly it was worth the three hours we waited to see it. Harry and the driver were great, they gave us extra food and drink and always made sure we were warm and comfortable. Thank you very much for an enjoyable experience.

Top tour in Tromsø for nature, Northern Lights photography with best assistance and top settings - absolute recommendation - Great individual service from
pickup until delivery on
Hotel.
Nature experience in a pleasant atmosphere with all the trimmings including photo tips and help with the choice of subject and photo technique.
The selected spots were phenomenal, the explanations about the Northern Lights very informative and sound.
Guide and driver great: took care of all matters, always approachable, created a great atmosphere in the group, phenomenal barbecue night in December on the fjord - thanks to the Thero suit and polar shoes in the truck no problem. Great Northern Lights sightings in wonderful scenic settings.

Bring patience and warm clothing for a Bucket List Experience - Amazing bucket list experience! Northern Horizons was very organized: met on time at Magic Ice Bar, Harry called each participant by name from his Ipad and made sure he had your email, nice passenger van with Dominic the driver. Harry set clear expectations of the reality of watching nature; maybe it will happen, maybe it won’t, how far we’re driving, where it was geographically. Obviously he’s been doing this a long time, is knowledgeable and is passionate about Aurora Borealis and night photography - can you ask for anything more! When we got to the spot we were the only ones there. Most of us took advantage of the boots offered since we would be walking a bit through snow. Some of us took advantage of the cold weather coveralls. It was cold and you are outside for hours so I really liked that option. I didn’t use them but they were available at anytime I wanted to pull them on over everything else I was wearing.
I loved grilling over the fire my own reindeer sausage! And we saw reindeer on the drive back! Hot tea and hot chocolate were delicious, although we were out in nature, and if nature calls…just a heads up not to drink too much.
And we saw the Northern Lights!!! For a very long time. We were so lucky! And Harry is an amazing night photographer. He’ll help you with the tripod, your camera or your cell phone. I brought a props for unbelievable pictures-Harry took amazing photos for us!
There was some issue with where the van was parked, so Dominic unloaded our supplies and drove to a parking lot. So Harry was doing a lot on his own-still felt like a very personal, informative experience.
Amazing pictures were in my email before I woke up the next day!
Cannot recommend this experience more! We were lucky the Lights appeared and waned before the wind picked up.

Great experience! - The tour was great thanks to Simon! Kudos to him on his knowledge about the Northern Lights, and the significance of it with different cultures. Not to mention, also for bringing us straight to where the lights were at. We were really lucky to be able to catch the lights twice in a span of 4+ hours.
Despite the cold, this tour is highly recommended.

Would highly recommend for the best chance to see the northern lights for yourself - We were picked up from the meeting point on time, and taken to the spot on a bus. Our guide, Max, was so friendly and professional, offering guidance and insight throughout. We were given thermal suits and boots to fend us from the temperature, which kept us plenty warm for hours. It really felt as though the team offered us the best chance to see the northern lights and the added bonus of camp fire, reindeer sausages, hot chocolate and biscuits made for an enjoyable experience. Not to mention the photos taken for you!

Professionnal compagny i recommend - I recommend this compagny if you are in tromso and want to see aurora. They are very, very professionnal. They do their best to give you the opportunity to see northern lights. It is a small group, maximum 15 people. It is not a simple tour but a real Hunt to see aurora. We drove to finland border. The day of my experience, in the morning it was a storm in tromso, a very strong wind, with snow...the weather conditions were very bad and in the morning i wanted to cancel because i was sure to see nothing at all. But we had a very good, experienced guide, Max. He explained many things, and he did his best. We saw northern lights, it was amazing . Even on the road to return to tromso we stopped to see another aurora at maybe 2 in the morning. A serious compagny and thank you Raphaël the driver, because with the wind, the snow, the ice on the road this night, you have to be an excellent driver.

Superb northern lights chase! - Absolutely amazing northern lights chase with Simon and Dominic!
We boarded a minibus with about 14 others at 5:30 pm local time. Tromsø was cloudy and Simon mentioned that we’d probably be driving all the way to Finland for clear skies. We stopped a few times along the way to check for clear skies and once to use the facilities at a truck stop. Once in Finland, Simon and Dominic parked the minibus and led us to a frozen, snow-covered lake. The aurora developed slowly over the next two hours and bursted into a spectacular show that lasted for another hour!
Simon is very knowledgeable about the northern lights. Dominic is an excellent driver and I felt safe during the long ride in wintry conditions. This trip would be challenging (and likely unenjoyable) for those with mobility issues and children.

What an experience! - We had a very interesting night on our tour. Tromso was completely cloud covered due to an incoming winter storm so we headed to Finland. The night could not have been clearer there - the sky was so black and covered in stars. Our guide gave us lots of information about the stars while we waited. The lights showed up and hung out for quite some time. They were just never extremely strong - but that's not anyone's fault - nature will do what it does. On the way home, we were caught in that storm. It was super snowy and really windy but our driver was excellent! He got us all home safely. Overall it was quite the experience between going to an additional country, seeing the Northern Lights and an Arctic storm!
