Great guide- made the trip excellent! - Fantastic experience 100% because of our guide. I appreciate the elusiveness of the lights more than I had prior to the trip. Our guide was passionate about getting us a good view- which was noticeable when we were near other groups (how much better this trip was). It took us across Norway and down into Finland - we did not see any activity until around midnight. The lights were active and we ended up with a great show. We did get back around 2:30am, but worth it. Highly recommend this tour!

Amazing - Our guide Marius was very nice and experienced. Unfortunately we went on the tour on a quite cloudy night, but Marius went to different places so we could see the lights. The campfire part was interesting as well, we had hotdogs and hot chocolate, but the weather was too cold (-10C) for us to stay still for too long. But still we loved this tour and would definitely recommend this.

Marvellous Marius! - Marius was amazing! So knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He was honest that our chances to see the lights were slim but Nothing was too much for him he made the whole experience great and never gave up searching for a gap in the clouds so we had a chance of seeing the lights, and we did! He drove us for 3 hours each way, such a long night but he didnt give up once he was happy and chatty and kept our spirits up the whole time. Definitely recommend Marius and this tour.

Amazing evening tour - The guides Hassan and Marius each led a small tour on minibuses. We drove for a good couple of hours, stopping along the way for Hassan to jump our, check the skies etc, until finally we pulled over to a really nice location and he made a firepit whilst we put footwarmers he provided in our boots and layered up.
No sooner had we stepped out of the van than the Nothern Lights appeared really vividly in the sky and Hassan took photos of each of us using his pro camera and tripod.
We warmed hotdogs and marshmallows over the firepit and drank hot chocolate as we waiting for more dancing lights in the sky, and all in all had a really good time.
On the way home we tried more locations and got the occasional brief glimpse of more lights.
Although there's no guarantee of seeing the Northern Lights, I would highly recommend Marius and Hassan for their professionalism and knowledge to be in with a good chance.

Absolutely amazing one of the best nights of my life - Marius gave us an unforgettable night and amazing start to the NYE! Was very knowledgeable and also just a great vibe, and so many little extra details that made the trip so much fun :)

Excellent!!!! - Hello, we had a great experience with this tour on January 1 st. We were lucky to see an explosion of northern light. But, actually the whole experience with Marius as an excellent guide made this a 5 star happening. Really only positive feelings and a once in a lifetime experience of the Bucket list!

Excellent guides and spectacular Aurora location chosen!! - Tour guide are so fun. Icing was seeing extra magnificent Northern lights show. Guides stopped when first saw the lights then took us to a fabulous location with mountains all around to watch Aurora dance all night. They even brought sparklers for New Year’s Eve and fireworks though we didn’t need them. The lights were a spectacular fireworks show. Lucky we only had to drive 30min as it was an unusually clear starry night. Definitely recommend this guide group snow travels. So special!! Oh ya and roasted our own sausages.

Exceeded expectations! A+++! - I’d give this tour 100 stars if I could! Superb guide, Marius. We started in Tromso in a near blizzard with little probability of seeing the lights. But Marius and his colleague in the other van figured out where to go (into Finland) and around 1:00 AM the snow and wind slowed, stars appeared and we saw the lights! Magical! Marius took care of everything; warm suits, various drinks, snacks, food, information, all provided in an enthusiastic and fun way. Pro tip concerning northern lights: book a tour! We Americans naively figured we’d see the lights every night from our hotel in Tromso. Perhaps at times you can, but they’re capricious and the city lights make them almost impossible to see even if there aren’t clouds. Marius knows where to go although he of course can’t guarantee it! Just book the tour though and don’t miss this chance-in-a-lifetime to see the lights. Thanks, Snow-travels! We are one satisfied group after this tour!

Amazing Aurora experience with a wonderful group of people and a great tour guide - We had the most spectacular night with Snow Travels Aurora Tours and a small group of fantastic people on a journey to see the northern lights. Our tour guide, Hassan, was knowledgeable, professional, super polite and considerate of everyone on the tour. He was the most amazing guide who expertly drove us to a unique location from where, around a campfire we drank hot chocolate and toasted sausages whilst waiting for the Aurora. The professionalism of the tour company was evident even before we commenced the tour through all the considered interactions on the day. The three hour journey in search of clear skies was filled with engaging conversations and laughter. Within a few minutes of arriving at our destination the sky lit up with the most spectacular sky show. For nearly two hours we laughed, photographed and enjoyed the Aurora dancing across the sky. So glad my weeks of research into Aurora tour companies paid off, Snow Travels provided the most memorable of experiences. Thank you Hassan and Marius!
