Beautiful experience - We had a lot of fun in this experience. We were welcomed by Sami guides and it started with Reindeer feeding where we were given Reindeer food in buckets. The reindeers are docile animals and they are used to humans around them. Then, they served Reindeer stew (Tomato soup for vegetarians), hot chocolate and cookies. The sledding was fun too but glad that we did not opt for the long tour. We thought the short tour (about 15-20 min) was good enough. The experience ended with story telling session by Sami people about Sami culture. It was informative and entertaining.

Cute cute Reindeers - Great experience. The reindeer are beautiful! Feed them is a great experience and so heartwarming. The sami stew (I had vegetarian) was very nice. They offer complementary hot drinks (including hot chocolate). The staff was very friendly (I don't know her name but special mention to the lady who told us the Sami stories around 13:00 on rhe 30th/12) and it was great to listen them sing and to know about their history.

10/10 - Amazing experience. Everyone who visits Tromso should visit the Sami ranch with reindeers. Friendly people with a lot of knowledge and experience share the information in a nice and profesional way. It made my stay at Tromso better and more enjoyable. I fully recommend.

Loved this experience! - Unfortunately there was no sledding due to there being no snow. BUT me and my partner still had an amazing time. Before we fed the reindeers the staff let me put on some wellies which was handy as it was quite muddy. When we got to the reindeers, they were super hungry, we were swarmed by them, you definitely have to be strong and stern with them as they all fight for the buckets of food. They were still really cute and I loved being able to meet all of the reindeers and gave them some head scratches haha After feeding the reindeers we went inside the lovely tent with candle lit tables and a camp fire. Everyone had a choice of reindeer soup or veggie soup, they also had chocolate chip cookies so I just munched on them which were very nice. After an hour or so, we had a lovely lady tell us all about the Sami culture which was very educational and interesting to learn about. I 100% recommend this experience, me and my partner had a great time ☺️
