Well done - Presenter was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We learned a lot about the Sami people and it made me want to read more about their culture and heritage.

Great time “joiking” - Interacting with live reindeer, in an authentic setting, and learning about the Saami culture - our narrator was SUPERB!! Especially enjoyed his “joiking”!!

Nice experience - Travel to and from the city was about 50 minutes. The reindeers were cute. I hoped the reindeer feeding area had more lights, because it was very dark and picture taking would be a lot more nice if there were mote lights. The reindeer soup was good and there were unlimited hot chocolate, coffee or tea and biscuits. Overall, the tour was informative and nice to experience. Bonus was the northern lights showed up for a short time.

Great experience - It was overall a good experience but there are a couple of tours happening everyday which meant that by the time we got there to feed the reindeers (20 reindeers vs 50 people), the reindeers weren’t super hungry and wouldn’t eat much. But apart from that, it was a great experience and definitely worth seeing and learning about.

Cute, but a little disorganized - This was cute, but seemed a little disorganized. Pick up was great and the bus ride was super smooth. When we arrived, it was a quick overview of what to do with the reindeer and off we went. It was muddy and really dark, so it was hard to get any good photos and some of the reindeer were very skittish. Overall. we spend about 20 mins out with the reindeer. Then things sort of fell off... we got back inside and it was so hot and everyone was just sort of sitting around without direction. Finally dinner was served and then there was a little speech about the Sami culture. We might have had a new guide, but she seemed really timid and it was a little awkward. Mostly we wanted to sit outside and watch the Northern Lights, but we kept being brought back into the hot room. Then it was 10 mins in the gift shop before the ride home. Not a waste, but definitely not a 5-star experience.

Interesting evening … - Great to see reindeer up close, however it was sooooo dark, photos were near impossible! Shame. Also the animals are well fed, so after a while wandered off. Talk was good and interesting. On the down side, too much time wasted after meal and before talk.

Poor experience - "The reindeer were truly wonderful, but I was disappointed by the cultural presentation on Sami life. While the guide was knowledgeable and shared plenty of facts, the portrayal felt shallow, almost like a Hollywood depiction rather than an authentic insight into the Sami way of life. Although she was clearly part of the community, the experience lacked the depth and unique perspective I was hoping for, especially given the cost. I’ve gained more insight into Sami culture from documentaries than from this tour.
