The perfect proposal - AMAZING. That’s truly all I can say. I’m just getting around to writing my review. The reindeer farm is beautiful of course but my review goes out to the staff. They truly went above and beyond when my now fiancée reached out to them to propose. They coordinated everything seamlessly and did a great job keeping it a secret (from me). They were able to set us up with an individual sled and private place for us to have the dinner. I couldn’t have imagine anything more perfect until the northern lights came out. Thank you to Marja, Sara, Manon, and Edwina for everything!

Relaxed evening in a beautiful setting - Perfect end to our trip. Came here on our last night. Very peaceful and serene setting. Little sled ride and reindeer feed. The tents with the campfires were cosy and the 3 course dinner was wonderful. Very well organised. The Sami woman sang happy birthday to me and gave me a beautiful gift. Loved hearing their stories and traditions around the campfire.

We like Sami and reindeer they are friends - Now this is a fun night! Reindeer pull you on a two person sled with a warm blanket over you. You get nose to nose with them and after, you get to feed them from a bucket. We then took pictures of the Northern lights and boy were they dancing. Food and drink followed of course in a huge lavuu. We learned about the Sami culture and heard their folk stories and they sang to us. This tour is a wonderful adventure. Oh one thing, make sure you keep your head back while feeding raindeer.

The guides and Sami hosts... - The guides and Sami hosts we so kind and friendly. Everything stayed on schedule. This was truly a fantastic experience all the way around! Plenty of time to see, feed, and take pics with/of the reindeer. The sled ride was a unique experience, but the dinner in the Sami lodge by the fire was unforgettable. The reindeer stew was cooked over the fire, plenty of hot drinks to warm up with, and only 25 min outside the city. Highly recommended. My only suggestion is the reindeer are out in droves and could be overwhelming for small kids.

Great staff delivered everything promised. - Lots of positives: Feeding the reindeer, 15 minute reindeer sled ride was enough. Reindeer walked in a line, nothing like driving a dog sled. Food was tasty and seconds were encouraged. Stories and songs were interesting by young Sami women. Very friendly and helpful staff. Limited northern light viewing, but not tours fault. A couple of negatives: Staff at pickup were terribly disorganized and no lighting getting off the bus at the camp. Strongly suggest if you do the night tour you bring a flashlight.

A night with the Sami/ reindeers - This is the program. 1. Pick up passenger by the cruiseship port. A bit disorganized, but worked out at the end 2. Arrived at the camp. We were ushered into the Sami house, to be greeted and oriented. 3. Reindeer sleigh around the camp. Dress warm! 4. Fed the Reindeers. They love to eat. You can pet them till your heart contents 5. Hot drinks were provided with cookies. 6. The lights were turned off for us to see the borealis northern lights. 7. Dinner is served. Smoked salmon salad, Reindeer stew, and chocolate Cake ( no alcoholic beverage allowed) 8. The sami ladies gave a talk about Sami life.

Wonderful and highly recommended - Wonderful experience getting to feed the reindeers and going on a slow sled ride. The guides are really wonderful and advise you clearly on how to act around the reindeer. It was also great to learn about the Sami cultural and understand the deeper history. The food was good and vegetarian options available

Hungry reindeer plus Northern Lights sighting - Before the reindeer sledding we got to feed the beauties, who were very majestic (if a little eager!). Sledding was great, the reindeer were very good and kept in line for the 10-15 minutes. Dinner was excellent but the highlight was unquestionably seeing the Northern Lights! They formed a beautiful crescent and danced across the night sky. We sadly missed more time learning about Sami culture as we were all outside watching them!

Fun time with the Reindeer - The beginning of the tour was a bit chaotic with the Checkin and getting in the bus. Once we got to the reindeer camp everything was great. We had perfect weather and the northern lights were out. Fun feeding the reindeers and a short ride. The meal was great as was the presentation by Sami women. I recommend this tour.

We did not do reindeer... - We did not do reindeer sledding which was very disappointing. Instead we fed reindeer. Due to camp fire inside when having dinner our clothes were smelling really bad of smoke.
