It was a great experience! - It was a good experience. The hosts did a great job and told us a lot about the Sami culture. The food was really good as well! Getting to interact with the reindeer was fun as well. They’re kind of like big puppies who aren’t afraid to let you know they’re hungry!

An amazing experience - It was a really well-organized experience. Due to the heavy rain on the day of our visit, the sledding was cancelled. We were offered either a full refund or a partial one, which would allow us to join other parts of the tour. This was very well communicated, so we chose to join, and we're glad we did. Reindeer feeding was really fun. After that we were served a nicely prepared 3-course dinner at the camp: salmon salad, reindeer stew and chocolate cake (vegetarian options were also available). We enjoyed learning about the Sami culture. The staff was engaging the audience and had interesting stories to tell. Definitely a must-do in Tromso.

A great evening spent in Tromso - We had a wonderful evening meeting the Reindeer and learning about the Sami culture. It was a very relaxing evening and nothing was rushed. Plenty of time to feed to Reindeer and have a sleigh ride before a great 3 course meal and hots drinks beside the fire. The talk after dinner was very interesting. The travel included was well organised. Just a 25 min bus ride.

Great cultural experience! - Amazing opportunity to learn about the Sami and their native culture! Throw in feeding the reindeer and you have a complete experience! We were even blessed with seeing the Northen lights as well! I highly recommend this tour.

It was fun to feed... - It was fun to feed reindeer, though some were very pushy about getting fed! Sled ride was also brief but fun. Learning about Sami culture was interesting.

Excellent cultural experience - After a short trip on a coach we arrive at the reindeer base. We got to feed reindeer from buckets before getting on a short sled ride. Dinner was lovely and traditional, getting to know others on the tour too and we learned lots about Sami culture. Overall an excellent tour. One improvement would be at the very start it is not very well organised as they have two large tours leaving at the same time.

Fun with Sami and reindeer - Such a fun experience. We enjoyed learning the Sami culture while in an amazing location. They selected reindeer swarm you like you are bringing sweet treats to the party as they push each other aside. Everyone was smiles. My girlfriend swore she would not eat the reindeer stew and ended up enjoying it. This adventure is worth the time.

Great Experience - The reindeer camp was around 30 minutes away from city, so it was pretty close. We first fed the reindeer for around 15 minutes, then were brought to ride on the reindeer sled. The ride was about 15 minutes. Unlike husky ride where we actually drove the sled, we only sat on the reindeer sled and staff at the front would lead. Interesting experience, but not to expect too much fun. After that we went to a tent for a 3-course dinner, food is ok. During dinner, staff informed us there were northern lights and we went out for photos. The light was great! Better than expected given that we were rather close to the city where there were a lot of lights. Afterwards we learned about the Sami culture from 2 Sami currently studying university in Tromso, quite informative and good to learn something about the locals on an oversea trip. :)

To avoid! - Classic tourist trap. Cost about 160€ for a dinner that was barely worth half. When I asked to have an encore of the salmon starter I was told that it was not possible and that it was only possible to do it with reindeer stew and dessert. Absurd considering the price of dinner! Of Sami culture there was very little apart from the boy who told the story in the tent otherwise everything seemed to me except Sami. Nice reindeer experience but otherwise absolutely to avoid!!!
